This post is dedicated to Nikitagmc who was asking about the prediction for this film 😊 . I wasn't actually gonna do the prediction otherwise!
SAMRAT & CO is a detective thriller featuring Rajeev Khandelwal (from AAMIR and TABLE NO.21). The film is being directed by Kaushik Ghatak who earlier directed the box office flop EK VIVAH AISE BHI (2008). The similarity between EK VIVAH... And his next film SAMRAT & CO is that both films are associated with Rajshri Productions.
Actor Rajeev's films do receive appreciation (mainly AAMIR and TABLE NO.21) and there is a chance of SAMRAT AND CO receiving appreciation too. The problem though is that the buzz for the film is low, lower than the buzz of the other 2 films releasing this week.
Opening of the film will be poor. Rajshri Productions banner will not help the opening as this is not a typical soft, romantic, family Rajshiri film: its a detective thriller instead. Overall, the opening will be poor, and the clash with two other films will prove to be even more damaging.
The film may find appreciation but it will likely be with a limited audience and won't really help collections during the film's lifetime run. Also, these type of dark, detective thrillers lack repeat value and hence there will be hardly any repeat audience going to see the film again.

Opening Day: approx 1 crore net
Opening Weekend: approx 5 crores net
Lifetime Collections: 10+ crores net
Overall Box office Verdict: Flop
