(1) Indira comments that the challenge that was put forward by Bapuji was met and he had promised to give the Rs. 5 lak. Bapuji says that Indira, Koki and Bhavana had also promised a lot of things in the past, by failed to fulfill them. Bapuji continues with citing that he spent more in the wedding than their husbands combined.
(2) Koki says that they handed over all of the money as demanded; Bapuji reminds her that his terms also included that the bahu should be a Gujarati. Koki is speechless. Mithiba also asks Koki to rescind her greed, as she has everything. Bhavana touts her bahu but Bapuji notes that Hari has not handed over the monthly expenses for the last 4 months and has failed to recover the costs for years.
(3) Indira smiles, but before she speaks Bapuji says that they have insulted themselves and made a mockery of the house rules and traditions, by being so rude and noncomplying to the family elders. Sunanda adds that the breakfast was delicious, but their harsh words have made them useless. Bapuji leaves with Sunanda saying that they have failed to maintain their duties, therefore, they deserve nothing.
(4) The trio lament this financial loss and Bhavana says that this was a stab in their back. They all leave with Mithiba sitting at the dining table and praying to Lord Krishna to maintain peace in this house and wondering that the unity of this house has always been threatened, but this is the height of it.
(5) Indira, Koki and Bhavana gather at the courtyard and all express their anger towards Bapuji. Koki says that this was nothing and that she is not remorseful of losing the money. Bhavana is shocked while Indira says that Koki also wanted the money, otherwise, she wouldn't be making "methi ka thelpa". Koki notes that she was just testing Bapuji and his word, but she knows not to trust him. Bhavana is surprised while Indira recognizes this as just overstated items.
(6) Bindiya is talking on the phone with her mother and complains that she is upset that the there is only one t.v. in the house and it is always under the control of Mithiba. Just then, she spots Bhavana walking and changes the tone of the conversation and praises Bhavana and comments that she is like her mother. Bhavana is impressed and blesses Bindiya. Bhavana says that she is blest to have Bindiya as her bahu. Bindiya thinks that her ultimate goal is to get another t.v. and she will get it soon, in her room.
(7) Samir, Jhanki and Pratapji are headed to Sharda Ashram and Samir is dreaming that all the wealth will be his and he will enslave Varun. They reach to the Ashram and it is well-built with old people moving around Varun standing there. Varun greets them all and Samir is astonished.
(8) Samir wonders about the sudden reconstruction when Varun comes over and explains that he is no amateur at this game and was aware of their estimated arrival. Samir thinks that Varun is much smarter than expected but Samir warns Varun that this drama will not last long and challenges his, noting that he is THE Samir Gheewala.
