Geet too was paying her homage to her late husband. She was remembering him. So many things changed in her life. If Yash was alive today they all would be living a big happy family. But that was not acceptable to the destiny. Yash was an integral part of her personality but she had lost her right on him in some meanings..She had a new relation in her life but she was not going to forget Yash. He taught her how to live for others..how to adjust with the changes in life. how could she forget him..He did a lot for her. Always made understand whenever taijis words hurt . She was lost in Yash's memories and then she heard a voice-GEET.and Geet looked up.She could see yash standing on the other side of the smoke which was erupting from the hawan kund. Geet was happy to see him in front of herself.

He was looking at her with affectionate eyes. Geet eyes too lit with the glow.Yash signaled her to come to him.Geet got up from the place and reached where Yash was standing.(in real it was not Geet but it was her soul who approached yash) Geet was standing in front of Yash..she was staring at him and he was looking at her will all his love

Geet-Yash ..and Yash held her hand

Yash -Kaisi ho Geet? Yaad aati hai na meri?

Geet-what are you talking yash? We remember the person whom we forget ,,I never forgot you yash..Yahaan sab hain mere paas bas ek aap hi nahin hain..sab logon na zabardasti meri shadi Maan ke saath karwa di.No one heard my pleadings

Geet looked at him for a moment with the tears in her eyes, she moved ahead and hugged him tightly.Yash too wrapped his arms around her and closed his eyes.

Geet-Yash why did you go leaving me. I missed you Yash Please now you are here .I m so happy.ab to kahin nahin jaayenge na aap mujhe chhodhar.

Yash smiled to hear her. He parted himself from her. He looked in to her eyes and said-Geet I m here to see you for the last time

Geet-Yash ..I will not let you go..agar aap ko jaan hi hai then I too will come with you.

Yash held Geet with her shoulder

Yash-Geet.ab meri duniya aur tumhaari duniya alag hai.and I want you to free me from yourself. I am your past Geet ..he is your present He pointed towards Maan who was sitting beside Geet paying his last homage to arpita..

yash again said-tum maano ya na maano is rishte ko..but the truth is that he is your husband.

Geet-I know Yash that he is now my husband,I accept that for the family. I m trying my best but don't say me to free yourself from me..Maan doesn't have a problem with that..He understands me. mere liye to aap hi mera pyar hain Yash.I know I did not do anything for you but please don't punish me for that..I always wanted to live for you only..but nobody listened to me.Now you too want me to free you from myself.I know you are angry with me.and she held him with his shirt

Geet started to cry and hugged him again

Geet- Yash Please don't say this..I will be alone here.

Yash-No Geet everyone is with you It's me who is alone... Tumhaare saath to Maan hai na jo har pal tumhen meri kami puri karega. Don't you want me to live peacefully?

But Geet was not ready to leave him She cluched him in her arms

Yash after holding her for few more moments-Geet see there rituals are going to be over..It's time for me to go.. I wish all the love and happiness for you in your life. Don't you want the same for me? Let me go Geet Let me go

He parted himself from her and he started to disappear from there..Get tried to hold his hand but she was not able to do so.yash made himself free from her and went Geet tried to rum after him

Geet-yaasshhh Please don't leave me

But soon he disappeared in the smoke of the hawan kund

Geet-Yashhh

And Geet came back to her senses. She was still sitting beside maan paying her homage to yash.S he looked everywhere but everything was same like before.

Tears were flowing from her eyes. She wiped of her tears before anyone could see them.

Puja was done..all hearts were heavy,,but it was Geet who was broken now..She could not understand whatever she experienced few moments earlier was reality or her dream. She became disturbed.She could not believe that Yash asked her to free him from herself.

All were sitting in the hall. Geet was in the kitchen. She was boiling milk .Panditji had asked only for the milk as he had a fast that day. When she did not came out with the milk after a long time .Maan went in to the kitchen to see what happened.he saw there Geet standing lost in her thoughts and milk was flowing out of the vassle after being boiled.

Maan-Geett..he turned the gas off and said to Geet-Kahaan dhyaan hai tumhara Geet.sara doodh bahae gir gaya hai.but Geet was standing unmoved. Maan shook her with shoulder -Geet and geet responded-haan .then she saw the condition of the milk-I m sorry wo mera dhyaan kahin aur tha..I did not see.I m really sorry

Maan-It's ok Geet. What happened? Kya soch rahi ho?

Geet-Nahin kuchh nahin. Chaliye.Panditji will be waiting for the milk.She poured the milk in the glass and put it in the tray.

Maan-Geet give it to me..I will take it and clean your face before coming out.

Geeet looked at Maan and lowered her head-Sorry..wo main

Maan-Geet,..I can understand so why you are saying sorry to me .. clean your face and come out.Geet took a piece of paper napkin and after wetting it she cleaned her face and came out with Maan.

After spending some time with the family Handas were to leave. Anie Maan and Geet went to see them off to the car. Geet was still not in her full sense as she was again and again thinking on Yash's words.(ST) was yash really asking me to leave him..How could he say that.I never felt him separated from myself then why he was saying that he wanted to live in peace..was he really feeling to be free.

Sudha-Geet ..but Geet did not heard

Maan looked at her she was again lost in her thoughts.He came near Geet and said-geet mamma is calling you

Geet looked at him and then she looked at her family.

Gautam-Geet are you alright?

Geet-Ji papa I m fine..wo main bas kuchh soch rahi thi..I m sorry

Gautam-Hmm chalo ab hum chalet hain.Geet Maan take care of your self.maan and Rahul said Bye to each other Anie too said Bye to Handas and they went.

All came in to the hall.Priya and Ram were sitting there . priya was very sad. Geet sat with her and put her head on her shoulder.Priya too took her in her arms.she felt her eyes wet. She caressed Geet's back with her palm.Geet I m fine beta..Don't worry.Jo chale gaye hain we can't bring them back. We can only remember them for the whole life. Geet too feeling to cry but she controlled herself as she did not want to be the reason of the sadness of already sad family.

Ram had declared it a holiday in KC so everyone was at home. Geet was not in a good mood. She did not have her lunch properly. Maan noticed that but he thought it to be a natural reaction as everyone was not in a good spirit.

Geet was only thinking about whatever yash said to her. So she sgain and again was lost in her thoughts.

At dinner table

Till Night reached everyone was in control but It was Geet who was still like she was during the day.She was literally playing with the food.

Priya-Geet why are you not eating food? No body ate properly whole day ab to kha lo

Geet-maa ..I m not feeling to eat anything.

Ram-kya hua Geet?

Geet-papa I m having a little headache..Can I go to my room. I don't want to eat .

Priya-It's ok Geet..go and take rest..and take the medicine

Geet-Ji maa..She excused herself and went to the room. Maan looked at her , he could guess that something was bothering her.

After they finished their dinner Priya said to maan-Maan take some food for Geet .She hasn't eaten properly. If she stays hungry headache will not reduce. Maan served the food for Geet and headed towards his room.He saw that Geet was lying on the couch with her face towards the wall.

Maan called her-Geet

Geet heard him and replied-Hmm

Maan-Geet how is you headache? ..Did you have medicine or not?

Geet-Haan I took that and I m fine now. She was replying him still with her back towards him

Maan-If your headache is fine then have some food.

Geet-nahi Maan I m not hungry.

Maan-Geet Look at me

But Geet did not turn.seeing no response from Geet he turned her towards him. Geet face was full of Tears Maan became restless to see those tears and asked -Geet what happened ? why are you crying?

Geet quickly wiped her tears and said-nothing happened Maan .and she got up from the couch -I m coming in few minutes she tried to go to the washroom but Maan held her hand-Geet ruko.

and she stopped. She was standing there with her low head .Maan made her to look at him by holding her chin.

Geet looked at him and tears flowed again from her eyes.

Maan could not hold himself today and he took her face in his both palms and wiped her tears with his thumbs-Geet kya hua hai.. won't you share it with me? Hum dost hain na..I can guess that it is related with Yash as you are in a low spirit since morning but I want to know what that issue is. Tell me Geet.

Geet heard him and she started to cry.Now Maan could sense that something very serious has happened with Geet. Not being able to see her in that state he took her in his embrace and Geet clutched his shirt in her fist.

Maan was threading her hair and geet was wetting his shirt. After some time when Maan found Geet calmed down, he asked-Geet Kya hua bataao mujhe.
Geet parted away from him and she looked at Maan.

Maan-Bolo Geet. whatever you have in your heart, you can share with me

Geet after a pause said-Maan in the morning when we were doing the rituals..I saw Yash there. He was asking me to free him from myself.He wanted to go away from me. He was saying that he was not feeling peace here. He also said that I m not allowing him to leave as I have tied him with myself. He wanted to leave me and while she was saying this fresh tears again rolled out from her eyes.Maan too felt his eyes wet when Geet told him.

He again Took Geet near himself by putting her head on his chest. He caressed her hair and and kissed there too.

Maan-Geet If he wants to go then let him go. If he is not feeling peace then give him some peace. At least he deserves it.

Geet was shocked to hear that and after parting away from him she looked at Maan with confusion.

Maan put his one palm on her cheek and said-Geet..Yash is and will be a part of our life forever but he is not the part of this world now. Wo hamesha hamaari zindagi ka hissa rahega lekin hamaari duniya ka hissa ab wo nahin ban sakta hai. Now he has a different world and he has a right to live there peacefully. We should not be selfish Geet.people say that soul take rebirths so it's his right to enter in a new life. You cannot keep him away from his this right. please Geet I m too requesting you on his behalf..make him free..Let him go where he wants to go. Life never stops of anyone for anyone. See we are living without him and somewhere we all are happy too. we all are moving ahead in our life so yash too have to move on . Jaane do Geet usko.

Geet was listening to him and tears were still flowing but somewhere she was looking convince with whatever Maan said.

Geet-Maan if whatever you said is true , do you think he will feel happy If I let him go?will he be in peace?

Maan-off course Geet..don't we all want him to be happy as we all are?

Geet nodded ,she turned and went near the picture of Yash where he was smiling with Maan.She put her fingers on the face of Yash and said-Yash..I m letting you go freely where you want to..Go and live your life peacefully. Geet never will be a reason for your grief knowingly. I m sorry if you were not in peace these days because of me. you take care of yourself and don't worry about me I m fine. I will always be fine to think that you are happy. Good bye Yash. I wish you all the best for your new life ahead.I will pray God to give you all the happiness that you deserve.

Geet was trying to control herself but at last she broke down and sat on the floor under the portrait of yash. Maan came near her sat there and hugged her to console her

. After some time Geet stopped to cry. Maan made her stand taking with him. He brought her to the couch and made her settled there .

Maan too sat on the edge of the couch. He threaded her hair and said- Geet You are tired.Aoo thoda sa khana kha lo.warna you will fell sick.

Geet-No I don't want anything ..Please Maan. I want to sleep. Im fine

Maan could understand her condition so he said-Ok ..then sleep..

And he covered her with the spread caressed her hair and said-Good night Geet

Geet-Good night. And Maan too went to sleep. Geet stopped him -Maan

Maan=Hmm

Geet-Thanks a lot Maan for being there for me.

Maan-you are forgetting Geet what you said two days before to me. We both live together in this room so we can only be with each other . Right?

Geet nodded-Hmm

Maan-Ab so jaao Geet. And Geet closed her eyes she was too tired that she slept in minutes.after starring at her for some time Maan too slept .he was feeling contented in his heart to an extant today

Next day morning

All were sitting for the Breakfast

Maan looked at Ram.he was not ready yet for the office

Maan-papa you did not get ready for the office? We will get late.

Ram-Maan I m not going to office from today.

Maan and get were shocked even priya nad Anie too

Maan-what? Are you serious?

Ram-Don't be shocked ..I m not going to declare my retirement, I m only going to stay at home for some days only. Don't worry maan I will work from home .whenever you need me I will be there.I will attend the meetings which will need me. So chill.

Maan-But papa how can I handle this alone?

Ram-Maan come on.. when you were small I too handled it alone .and you will have to do it one day. It's the matter of some days Maan .Don't get panicked.

Maan-Theek hai papa ..as you wish.

Ram-so all the best Maan.

Maan smiled-thanks papa. And Maan and Geet left after the BF

Anie's exams were over so she was free. She went to her room to watch a movie.

Priya asked Ram-Ram why did you take a sudden decision..I mean you did not say that you want to take leaves.

Ram- Priya I told you earlier that I was planning something for Maan and Geet.and I was waiting for the anniversary of Yash to be passed.It has passed now and I Think it is the right time to think about bMaan and Geet. As you see they never get a chance to be alone . we are always with them

At home we all are with them and at office I m always between them. At night they don't even share the bed so no chance of improvement between them.we directly can not force them to accept this marriage so I want to try my idea to leave then alone with each other. May be the situation is changed as they are alays together that too without any third person.I hope my idea works on them.

Priya-If you think so ..I m sure it will work.

Ram-hmm let's see we only can hope for the best.And one more thought was coming in my mind..I think I can give my company to you too.so your complaints for not giving you time will come to an end.

Priya laughed-Come on Ram.when did I complain to you?

Ram-That too is right..achchha now I m on leave so don't disturb me..I m going to sleep.

And priya smiled to see her husband felling so relaxed.
