Payal buys a Skoda during the shooting of

It was an unfortunate car accident which totaled her previous car, a Honda City, that required the actress to make her new purchase. Payal says, "20 days of the movie's shoot was scheduled in Pune. For a scene of mine I needed my clothes from a designer in Bombay so my driver was traveling all the way from Pune to Mumbai in the night. He had not slept because he was on duty throughout the shoot and the next day he was in a hurry to get back to Pune. Because of this he had an accident and my car was crushed very badly." Luckily, Payal's driver was not injured in the accident.

Nevertheless Payal is still happy as she is now the proud owner of a Skoda:

"The shooting of Dhol is very special to be because I have bought my Skoda during it. I never thought that in this stage of my career it would happen but it has." says Payal.

Payal was last seen in the film Corporate where she played the role of an item girl who sleeps her way to the top.
