Whats Chemistry all about

Whats Chemistry all about in you dictionary.

How do one define chemistry between two persons.
Is it all about touching?
Is it all about hugging?
Does a husband and wife keep touching and hugging each other all the time while casually talking to each other. Does it happen in real life?

You must be thinking what am I talking about. Its not related to the show.
I made this topic after reading so much about chemistry being so cold , no intimacy between leads etc.
Its for general discussion nothing related to off screen only concern about onscreen.

Well for me SaMud will always be at the highest in regarding the chemistry. Because they emote through their dialogues, through their eyes. They dont look despo for me. Their simple talk also make me happy. Only complain is their talks could be more long, more about each other than about the rest of crappy family. Little bit of intensity in writing could do wonders.

I watch the show only for them, rest i just doze off. Others doesn't interest me at all.

There are plenty of shows on TV right now where the leads have so much intimacy but nothing attracts me. Many say they have awesome chemistry, its oozing. But i dont get the itching to watch other shows. Why is it so?

There are two things here, chemistry and physical chemistry. As far as acting is concerned, I think these two main leads are very much full of talent and can emote very well. But when it come to acting like husband and wife, it is zilch. No physical chemistry. I can feel the invisible line.

😆 Oh please no one wants to see only hugs and kisses. chemistry means more than that. we don't even get to see them talking much and expressing. Its once in a blue moon we get a classic samud moment.

I do think think that those complaining want Saras and Kumud to be touching each other all the time, but newly married couples who are very much in love like to be close to each other. Physical intimacy is as important as emotional intimacy, of course we are not expecting any thing extraordinary here, but when the lead pair behave as if they have been married for years and are so distant to each other, it is obvious people get frustrated.

Then the director perception, writer are not doing justice to the talented leads.
There was a time when both leads did not even see each other, even then many felt there is a lot of chemistry. What chemistry is that about.
Writers have gone in wrong direction after SaMud wedding, i think so?
They lack depth in writing dialogues especially concerned to SaMud. They are more worried about family rather than themselves. They dont have talk as a husband and wife?

For eg.
After rescuing Kumud i wished there was heart to heart talk between Saras n Kumud.
There could have been a scene between Saras, Kumud and Danny coz she trying to unite them after their fight. Nothing of that sort happened.
CV's wasted so much time on Sunanda, Jugnu etc. They could have utilised that time for Leads interaction. But no.

I'm satisfied with their chemistry but not with story.

With what you have written i conclude its not chemistry that getting affected, its the story, scenes written are not of depth.
Samud doesnt have personal talks. All they talk is about family family and family.
That is the reason most are getting bored with them.

One thing is there.In the beginning of the show when SLB was d producer Samud hugged only once.Still there was passionate chemistry btw 2.The way they were looking at each other,dialogues n the BGM enchanced their chemistry.
