Seeing Paro walk down the stairs, looking like a charming seductress, Rudra went into a tizzy. What followed after that was a unique combination of torment and ecstasy that her proximity brought to him. He made a desperate attempt to reign in his desire, especially when she totally submitted herself to the moment.
In contrast to this intense reaction from him, it was a delight to Paro's reaction earlier, when he casually strode out in dashing black formals, all dressed to leave for the party. She felt no need to restrain her admiration for him.
