*Flashback*
I kept staring endlessly in the same direction even after he left. What did he say? Did I hear him right? Why did he say that though? What did he mean by 'incorrigible people' ? Whom did I fall for? Five I guess? Yes five questions! Only these five questions were continuously churning up my mind.
" Sanyukta! " said Akshay nudging me to life.
" Uh? Ahhh Akshay it hurts! "
" What are you deeply into? You look like you are planning a murder! "
" No Im just... " I said dusting my clothes not wanting to answer him.
" God! This girl! " said Akshay.
" Hey! Where did you go by the way? I was calling out for you till my vocals tore and you were completely out of sight! "
" You fell down into that..OMG!! that.. that OMG! that whatever! Hahaha! "
" Yeah yeah very funny! Would you like to experience it too? Come Im in full support! "
" Chill yaar! I know you fell into that and I did hear you call out for me. "
" Haww! What the hell! Then what were you doing? Waiting for auspicious time to get your legs starting and help me up to the ground? "
" No Sanyukta, don't get me wrong I heard you scream and I was running towards you but.. "
" But you thought why not take pleasure in her helplessness for a while and then become the hero? "
" But I saw Randhir coming there so I immediately halted. "
" That's my point! Why did you wait till he came! Why didn't you come. You know how much I hate him. "
" No you don't. You just don't want to acknowledge the fact that you really like him. "
" Whatever. Why did you stop though? "
" Cuz I didn't wanted to be an obstacle for the both of you or your budding relationship apparently.."
" You wish! "
" I acknowledge. "
" What's wrong with you Akshay ? "
" Face the reality Sanyukta. "
" Enlighten me! "
" Randhir does have feelings for you. " said Akshay in a gasp.
" What? Now how did you get to know about this? He told you? That's the last thing possible! "
" I found out. My experiments are always helpful! He does go green looking at guys nearing you. "
" What experiments? Guys nearing me? Only you... Ohh!! So that library incident was your paln huh? "
'Um.. Ah.. I kinda had to do that cuz you know... Sanyukta.. I.. "
" This was the exact you when you were proposing me! Stammering! "
" What else do you expect me do? Jump for joy and say I Love You in a flow? Firstly I was proposing you out of everybody else that too when a jealous beast was glaring at me like it was the end of me and I didn't exactly practise my lines to deliver them like a Romeo! "
" Hahaha! True. But how did you know Randhir was there? "
" He was following us since the second we left the class. "
" Omg! Was he spying us? "
" May be keeping an eye on me to protect his new found.. "
" Cut it right there. Then why did he say that I fall for incorrigible people? "
" Cuz he thinks you accepted my proposal dumbo! "
" What? Ohh Yeah! Library! Omg!! So he is jealous? "
" Was I speaking Latin in the starting? "
" Eh shut up! But why should he be jealous? He doesn't even greet me a morning properly! "
" Greetings don't hafta start love Sanyukta. Jealousy does. "
" I don't! I don't love him! I hate him. "
" Tell yourself not me. Good luck. " said Akshay in a pissed tone as he started walking.
I figured there wouldn't be anyone to help me out this time if I get on a mission to save puppies so I started walking right behind him. We talked nothing. He was not in a mood to talk to a cynic and I needed some time away from all this. He walked along till I got home and then he found his way back to his.
I leisurely gave a second thought to all the unknown and unwanted happenings these days. But every time i think about Randhir or things related to him I immediately switch to that scene. He caressed my cheeks oh so lovingly. It doesn't take a second for the crimson to creep up my cheeks whenever that scene flashes. And the next immediate word I mouth is PASSION. I have no idea what is going on. I feel so insane. It sounds like a romantic scene in a boring hindi serial!
I decided to cut the chain of my thoughts and hit the bed and I did.
Tossing on the bed for hours together with random thoughts in my head I just wanted to shut the world away .
Its been 3 hours since Im on bed with my eyes closed but sleep seems eons apart..
Him, his ruffled hair, his musky cologne, his brown orbs, his reticence nature, his ego... So many things. Some are awful and some leave me in an awe. But all that dominates is his PASSIONATE Aura. These two words formed an un-erasable design in my mind as my lips curved into a soft smile and I slowly drifted into slumber.
Days passed and our awkwardness was more familiar than our fights . He didn't talk much. He never did. Akshay didn't come up with any of his plans of human feelings detection. But Keerti... I really have to think something about this moron! All was going good but sometimes the fact that we shared awkwardness and nothing more than that felt claustrophobic. But I anyway convinced myself that getting claustrophobic is better than conversing.
Another week and we will start with our final examinations. Then holidays. Exciting but boring too. Everybody was in a mood to prepare and get through them. Finally the exams started and they ended in no time. We had 2 months holidays and then 9th!
9th standard marked the start of many new things. We could choose our own bench mates and that marks freedom. Best of all the things we would take the responsibility of giving farewell to the outgoing i.e the 10th standard batch! And that marks excitement.
Precap : What happens when a mere presence is taking your breath away and you still can't avoid it? Ask yourself and you will hear your heart dancing to love's tunes. What happens when all of a sudden you express so much that it leaves you shattered enough to gather yourself? Why are you so blind towards your souls, already entwined in PASSION?
