Whatever the language,country,century it never fails to win a lady -- Old World Charm--Raman like a true gentleman acknowledged his wife without economising on the praise quotient in full view of the world.Ishita was feeling happy and honoured. Who wouldn't? Every woman likes to be wooed and courted . I am sure if we had stretched our imagination a little we would have felt what Ishita was experiencing.
Her knight in shining armour seemed to be doffing his hat, had eyes only for her, seemed to be reaching out to her , not fighting shy the sincerity he felt and his feelings were so genuine that speaking in Tamil did not , even though it was not his mother tongue ,hold him back in any way.
He seemed to be echoing what gentlemen down the ages have been saying to their Lady Loves namely --- " May I have the privilege of addressing you my Dear lady"--and she seemed to be saying--"I shall be honoured- " The effort to speak in Tamil stood for the bunch of her favourite flowers which he had gone out of his way to pick up from a gardener who knew about them. What better bouquet could he choose to give Ishita.
