" Love is like life. Every corner is not easy, every corner doesn't bring happiness. But when we don't leave life alone...why should we leave love alone..."
Being in love is not easy. Love doesn't come with a promise of undemanding situations, or a painless path for life. Love breaks hearts, love frustrates and angers you, love makes you want to cry and sometimes even makes you want to forget about the person you love. But you cannot easily drop a person out of your life, especially when that person has left a special mark on your heart. Or as in Swayam's and Sharon's case, left numerous indelible marks on each others's hearts. Marks of happiness, of love, of betrayal, of anger, of jealousy, of grief and marks of every possible emotion one can think of.
Love is a tornado which turns your life upside down, love is a drama which can make you cry and laugh at the same time, love is a bag of mixed chocolates when you never get to know what flavor you picked, love is hard, love is fun, love is wonderful, love is...SwaRon.
Its rare to not usually laugh away a scene in a movie or a TV show where one touch or one strong call from the hero or heroine brings back a person from the dead. But such is the power of Shantanu Maheshwari's acting that one would hardly feel like batting an eyelid when he calls with all his heart for a dying Sharon to come back to him. He has emerged as an actor par brilliance. He doesn't need too many heavy dialogues to lure the audience's attention towards an emotional scene. He just needs to make sure his eyes are seen, because his eyes can say what a hundred sentimental or romantic lines cannot.
The mere transition from the initial shock, to the painful numbness, to the fierce will to bring his love back, to the heartbroken hopelessness, to the joyous relief of having her back and finally the look of solace and abundant love on his face when she professes her love for him would make one wonder how this guy is just a few years old in the industry.
Flawless acting, perfect expressions, incomparable brilliance. That is Shantanu in a nutshell.
Swayam and Sharon have always been a couple which evoke a hundred emotions in their fans. Half the time it is frustration more than happiness because of their slow paced story. But the number of emotions a fan would have gone through today would be the most memorable I guess. A true fan would have shed more than a few tears today, both of grief and joy.
I don't understand why people complain that SwaRon don't get good dialogues. Vrushika and Shantanu have now reached a stage where they can strike a cord to our hearts with only their expressions.
An episode which started as a tear-jerker ended on a happy note making a whole fandom heave a huge sigh of relief, smile whole-heartedly after months and suddenly feel happy about love, about life.
Swayam can never stop loving Sharon. Sharon can never stay away from Swayam. SwaRon can stay apart, can ignore each other, can come up with a hundred reasons to break up but deep down every SwaRon fan knows that they love each other more than we think they do.
Because its not easy to forget someone with whom we have imagined forever with. Swayam and Sharon have seen other as more than just lovers or as a couple, they have seen each other as each other's forever. And such people cannot stay apart for long.
I don't watch the show these days. But I sat for today's episode just to see why it was being promoted so much and I'm quite glad I did. It feels weird to be posting a topic here on the forum after so long, and after not watching the show for quite some time. But there are some episodes in D3 which stir such strong emotions in you, that you just have to sit and pen down your thoughts somewhere.
Well, here's to an evening of happy tears and big ,happy smiles and gratefulness. Here's to a seemingly better future for Swayam and Sharon. Here's to some merry, loving moments between SwaRon to look forward to. And most importantly, here's to SwaRon-a saga that never fails to entertain us or leave our hearts fluttering.
Cheerio 😊
