So was just going through this massive encyclopedia of Bollywood cinema(Routledge Handbook of Indian Cinema) and according to them the biggest male sex symbols in Bollywood have been, wait for it:

1) Dev Anand
2) Rajesh Khanna
3) Shahrukh Khan

Indian women have understood the fundamental truth. Sexy is not in a beefcake body or looks. It is an attitude.. Passion is not kissing, dry humping. It better be conveyed through those means. But if you want to convey it by not touching or barely, It is conveyed in looks. All those men you mentioned are very ordinary looking off screen, but on screen just look at their eyes. Eyes that are supposed to the windows of the soul and these men excelled in that.

That is why they are sex symbols...

Indian women dont get gaga over so-called Hot Bodies blah blah.. These 3 actors have touched our hearts with the MOST appealing genre ever - Romantism

And Indian women love to think of those people as their fav sex symbols whom they LOVE... Very loyal .. Heart and Body need in sync 😈😆
