Hey guys :) Since the regular & the back up updaters for Friday, were caught up with some important work, thus I'll be providing the update for Friday i.e 18th April 2014's episode.
The episode starts with Mir khan trying to hit Barkat, when Zain intervenes. He catches Mir by the collar & warns him, saying since Barkat respects him (Mir) a lot, he is sparing him. But if he attempts to harm her in future, he (Zain) wouldn't spare him, considering the debt Mir holds of keeping Barkat away from the Abdullah family for 18 years. Zain turns over & looks at a grateful Barkat.
In Barkat Villa, Aaliya pacing up & down the room. Osmaan sees her & asks if everything is fine. Aaliya says, she was worried about the arrangements for the Quraan Khaani. Osmaan talks about how Suriyya has softened towards her & Aaliya says, it's all Allah's grace. He reminds her how her wedding with Zeeshan stopped in time & Zain came into the picture. Nobody could've imagined but that's how Allah plans things & everything happens only according to his will. He tells her that love was always present in the house, but due to her the presence, the essence of the very same has increased by many folds. Osmaan says says he is thankful to Allah & wishes that a daughter & DIL like her is given to every house. Aaliya smiles. Osmaan kisses on the forehead & leaves.
Barkat & Zain sitting alone, in a room. Barkat is in tears, as she narrates to Zain, how Mir used to hit her as a child. That he used to forcefully make her work & earn money for him. She gets insolable, as she says that, although the small colony where they lived had many people, but none came to protect her from Mir. She wished somebody helped her then & thanks Zain in tears, for standing up for her, tonight. He tells her, that she doesn't have to thank him & says, if anyone ever lifts a hand at her, he'll do the same again. Barkat says Abu (Mir) is dead for her now. Zain asks her to leave all the bitter memories behind & start afresh, as the future is filled only with love. He hugs her.
Later, Aaliya is pacing up & down the room, waiting for Zain. She wonders where he is & thinks of calling him, but drops the idea soon. She asks to herself that, why is she still awake. She decides to sleep & says that, she will not wake up, if he tries to do the same later, on the pretext of having kitkits. She hears footsteps & jumps in, hiding under the blanket, pretending she is asleep. Zain comes & is surprised to find her sleeping without, having kitkits with him. He cribs about the same & Aaliya secretely giggles hearing it, from under the blanket. Zain sits next to her & uncovers her face, from under the blanket & leaves to get changed.
Aaliya wakes up, looks around the room & covers her face under the blanket, again. Zain comes back after changing & seeing the same again, he uncovers her for the second him, while voicing loudly for his MKB to not do that, orelse she'll choke. He sits by her bedside for a brief while & gazes at her. Zain walks to his side, turns the lights off & sleeps. Aaliya wakes up & looks at him unbelievingly. She remembers how her Ami & Abu did the same, to her back in Bhopal, when she slept covering her face. She remembered them saying, that when she gets married & they won't be around to do that, her husband, would do that for her. Aaliya smiles thinking that & sleeps.
The next day, Zain wakes up & finds Aaliya's side of the bed empty. Just then, Aliya comes out of the washroom & dries her wet hair, infront of the mirror. Zain smirks a bit looking at her (as if checking her out ) & slowly gets in awe of her. Aaliya looks at him. Zain thinks to himself asking, why does she look different than the other days. Aaliya wonders, what makes Zain stare at her, as if he hasn't seen a girl before. They wish each other goodmorning.He asks why if she is going somewhere. She reminds him that, they have the Quraan khaani today. Zain asks her what is that & she explains. He asks her if, he jeans is allowed. She says yes, but picks up another outfit for him & says, he'll look good, according to her, if he wears that. She says, the choice is still his though & leaves. Zain wonders what is she to him & what does he exactly feel for her.
Later, the Quraan khaani begins. (beautifully shot scene). All the men & women of the house are in the living room, reading quraan. Chand bibi points out to Suriyya, on how passionately Aaliya's reading the word. Suriyaa smiles & says, since all of their wishes have been fulfilled. Zain observes her from a distance, with smirk. Aaliya begins to cough briefly, while reading. Zain gets water for her & hands it to Aaliya. Aaliya smiles & takes it from him. Suriyya observes them & smiles. Zain leaves. After the reading, everyone prays together & the Quraan khaani comes to an end. Barkat gets a little teary. Aaliya looks at Zain & smiles. Osmaan points out to Zain, on how lucky he is, to have found a wife like Aaliya. Zain looks at her. Barkat is lost in some thoughts. Nafeesa offers her sharbat, but Barkat is disturbed. She says, she'll have it later,gets up & leaves. Suriyya asks Chand bibi, where did Barkat go & asks her to, find her & bring her back. Chand bibi walks down the corridor & looks into Barkat's room, through the window. She sees Barkat lighting cigars & she is appalled.
Precap - An anxious Chand bibi, catches Aaliya in the corridor & tells her, what she saw Barkat doing. Aaliya is shocked & walks towards Barkat's room.
