Sonakshi signs Woman Centric Thriller with AR Murugadoss

Actress Sonakshi Sinha

There is a buzz in tinsel town that actress Sonakshi Sinha has agreed to be part of a movie which is being directed by A.R. Murugadoss.

It is a known fact that the actress is acting in Murugadoss' B'town film, Holiday, which has Akshay Kumar as the protagonist. Holiday is the remake of Murugadoss's 2012 Tamil blockbuster, Thuppakki.

Sources say that Sonakshi was impressed with Murugadoss's style and his way of functioning on the sets of Holiday and they bonded well during the shoot. It seems Murugadoss narrated a one liner of a script for a female oriented action thriller and the actress liked what she heard. A little birdie also tells us that she has agreed to work with the Ghajini filmmaker once again.

AR Murugadoss has always made action-based entertainers and prides himself in only making hits. While he is currently finishing a Tamil film with his favourite Tamil star Vijay, we have learnt from sources that his next will be a woman-oriented action-based entertainer with the strong and stunning Sonakshi Sinha.

Murugadoss recently, in an interview had told us, how he enjoyed working with Sonakshi as she is a fine actor with great professional values. She comes on time and is an easy person to work with. Sonakshi is also currently shooting a South film with the legend Rajinikanth and it seems that she has obviously taken a liking to South films and directors. While Hollywood has Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill, we wonder if this can become ours.

I already posted this, but that didn't get any comments, so I'll just post in here 😆
Finally something that sounds really good, and with a good director too. Hopefully this is true. Someone here also posted that her South film will have a good role for her too.

Sorry I did not see it but I agree sounds good. AR M isn't just any typical director. Yeah sure he makes masala films but most has good story and this sounds like a thriller. Exciting.

He is good with female roles and direction. Asin had a great role in Ghagni. Haven't seen other his movies, so don't know.

Well I liked Ghajini, so I'm fine with that level of masala. Plus this is woman centric, which is great.

This year I'm only watching Tevar and Ghoomketu from Sonakshi. I hope Holiday and Action Jackson do well for her sake, but after that she should only work with the younger guys in films not directed by Prabhudeva. Unless she's working in Ashutosh's film with Hrithik. Then that would be fine.

I do hope she's taken up that Broadway offer too.

That Rajinikanth film should do her favours in South.

AJ apparently has a good role but I don't believe Prabhudeva. Tevar I hope works for both Sona & Arjun. I also hope if that Ashutosh film is happening that Sona better be in it. Otherwise I wanted her in Bajirao Mastani.

I think she might do Kaminey 2 (Maha Kamina) mainly coz of Shahid connection and she showed interest in working with Vishal Bahrdwaj in recent interview
