Guys i just wanted to post my views on the confrontation scene of the mahaepisode which was the highlight. This outburst of jodha was
totally similar to the emotional outburst of jalal the other day
Right now i am a little busy so i am posting only jodha's views and the evolution of her feelings. Will do so soon for jalal.
CONFRONTATION SCENE AND MY VIEWS
Jodha was immensely hurt that the man that she had come to respect and now love had accused her of something so low.
She did not want to face him as she feels that there cannot be any love without trust.
This fact is supported by her antaratma when the aatma tells her that she had fallen in love with the person who did not have even
the basic trust of loyalty on her and tells her thus to leave . She is mentally not in a state to face him and his faking his death has only
aggrevated her anger that she fell for the very emotions that she has being trying to run from. She fell into his trap and is unable to
hide her weakpoint. Henve we get the scene of her running away and jalal running after her
Now i will go over jodha's evolved feelings before i come to individually analysing her dialogues to jalal
JODHA'S FEELINGS
In the beginning it was sheer hatred for jalal which after marriage strenthened after jalal's accusations on her during ruku's mc and jalal
taking her brothers captive. At that time she had her hatred to protect her stating that jalal is a bad person. But later, when she saw the
new side of him in the Ajmer dargah and after the tiger attack she understood the imortance of him in her life and also understood the
consequences of him not there in her life. She started acknowledging his good points. This turned into freindship in the marriage of her sister
in Amer after both of them sat and talked out the real reason for each other's hatred and after jalal solved the fort issue, she started
trusting him and his new side. Also after the freezing night andreligion converting issue, she realised that jalal can never go back on his
word and her trust in him increased. She still did not trust him completely and thus she did not expect full trust from him in the false
pregnancy track and choses to use hatred again as her sheild. A noteable point is that she is hurt mentally here not emotionally that
much hurt as compared to now. Or she would have left Agra at that time iteself. But when jalal solves the matter by also protecting her
dignity and trusting her she begins to trust him even more and starts to think that he cares for her respect. Also she starts believing he
has a heart due to his response to the gift she gave him on his birthday. This belief that he has started to trust her solidifies in the
tasneem track where she gets to know that jalal can go to any extent to deliver justice (rukaiya divorce).
Her belief of him trusting her solidifies when he accepts her idea of saving rukaiya's marriage. Then it all gets hampered due to the letter mu
She gulps down all the accusations and huliliations of jalal since at the back of her mind she thinks that she is reponsible for the dhakka.
But during ben track she realises she is possessive about him and can go to any extent for him. After saving him from ben, everything changed.
She chose to forgive him since she knew that he went near benazir simply to make her pay for the dhakka and to make her feel jealous.
Also now she thought that he would trust her since she sacrificed her life almost to save him. This belief was solidified in ruku murthikand
and jalal taking her advice on abolishing slavery. She finally thought she had his trust and the sujamal mu shattered her completely. She
expected him to be angry for her hiding things from him, but suspecting her of having an affair after she nearly died saving his life shocked
her beyond repair. So she now feels that there is no future for this relation as she would never be able to win his trust completely like
others.If basic loyalty is suspected even after drinking poison that too by the man she has fallen in love with she does not know what to
do and thus thinks it best to leave. So you see there always has been the trust factor which has taken the most importance for her since
without it there cannot be true love. So she has had concrete reason to forgive him for every accusation hehd made so far.
We can see that the najayaz rishta is ringing in her head just like the dhakka was reeling in jalal's head and he vented out in his
confrontation and yesterday it was her turn to vent out. Her emotional outburst included all the accusations he had received in Agra
after marriage and what she had kept in her heart.
DIALOGUES TO JALAL AND REASON
She started off by saying "Again question?"
By this she meant that all that she had been subjected post her marriage was questions sometime on her character or on her intensions.
She also pointed out on the way jalal had asked her the questions by implying that merely a yes or no answer could not be complete.
She then goes on to say that the cared about him and that she would continue doing every duty of a wife till death. According to me here
she said this to once again remind jalal as she had mentioned in the letter about the marriage vows of trust and respect that he had
forgotten.
Note:Many people feel that she too did not fulfill the vows by hiding the truth from him. But she referred to those specific vows in the letter
implying that she expected him to hear her side out and respect before banishing her.
After jalal's plea for her to return, she refuses, stating that she does not have any reason left to return. I feel the reason behind
this is that she feels that in Agra and for him there is no respect for her emotion and thus the lines, jab chaha gussa etc. And also she
realised she could never win his trust.
Her bhashan to jalal about stri samman is simply what she expected (hearing her side out) from him. Her line" hum apne charitya ko sambhal
kar khush hai" states that she she does not have the strength to bear any more accusations.
She finally winds it up by saying that if he respects her even a bit, then he should not follow her and make things more difficult for her.
The reason behind this is that she has acknowledged that she loves him but also knows that there can be no future of the relation
without trust and thus wants to go away from him and seeing him will only make her weak and increase pain in her heart.
Thus there is a link between jodha's antaraatma, her letter and her outburst which gives ua a clear picture of jodha's feelings.
