I think all of us are missing a vital point..something I too missed yesterday when I asked "Kya yehi pyar hai" in Shakespeare style..I made the mistake of still assuming that Jodha loved Jalal..I got my answer after the maha blunder yesterday..She loves the idea of being a proud Rajvanshi... ...then she loves the idea of being this just fair woman fighting for everything that is right & just ..she loves the idea that her self respect, pride and honour are immaculate and cannot be sullied...and unfortunately,after marriage,she has also fallen in love with idea of being a victim of circumstances whom life and kanha keep testing very unfairly at regular intervals...

Yups, we did miss this vital point till very recently and poor Jalal is still missing this vital point, hence he is still showing her his puppy dog eyes in the precap thinking that will melt her padlocked heart. oh poor TE that is not gonna happen..

Agreed !!! She is in her own world of ideas of how everything is supposed to be and as long as people will give ji huzuri to her and her ideas she is happy, if not then you are pretty much an outcast from her good books. 🤪

The point here is,she is in love with all these ideas...she doesn't believe in any of them truly or genuinely..If she did she wouldn't behave in he contrary manner in which she has oft behaved(as u have rightly pointed out below)..so let us not wrongly assume that she fights for justice or honour..she loves the idea that she is being seen as someone fighting for her honour or justice..

Exactly !! a person fighting for justice and honor would understand that your actions are the first to be judged because u are the epitome of RIGHT to these people and not that you get a hall pass to do whatever u want and ur actions are above questioning

Now where does Jalal figure in all this..answer:NOWHERE...She does not love him...just like she loves many ideas..she is in love with the idea that she is in love with him......

Poor Man 😭 she is in love with the idea that she changed this man and she assumes that she has to love him, hence we have never gotten a proper realization from her end 😡

she drank poison becoz it was her kartavya,not for love(as poor Jallu and stupid us assumed)...she missed the new found attention he was giving her when he went to Ruqs hojra that night(not his love)... She offers to break her bangles and die for him if he dies,notbcoz she loves,but bcoz she wants to be seen as this unflinching kartavya fulfilling woman. she has undoubtedly started liking Jalal and likes spending time with him, no wonder here,coz he nods away like a "Thanjavur bommai" and fulfills her every whim.Who wouldn't like to spend time with such a man who has all eyes and ears only for you ...she respects him(as she rightly stated),even admires some of his qualities... ...her natural human empathy is evoked(when she chooses) if she sees him hurt... But love is nowhere in the picture.

Well we assumed it was love, coz for normal people that is the biggest factor in sacrificing your life for someone, now that we know Jodha is very special of course she does everything coz its her Kartavya 🥱

coz he nods away like a "Thanjavur bommai" and fulfills her every whim. 🤣 🤣 what an apt description 👍🏼 what has our Jalal become 😭

well stupid of us expecting an epic love story and all we get in between the female mahaanta is a mutual admiration or hunar counting couple 🤪

.So let us not make the further mistake that she loves him even remotely..she likes him period..which is why she is able to walk off at the drop of a hat with no regrets and accuse him when he comes to apologize...Here too she walks off primarily bcoz her "kartavya fulfilling Rajvanshi"image is destroyed not bcoz trust is destroyed(that's wht I think)..trust might be a factor, but it is not primary here ...Love will never make u do that...

Yup not making this mistake again... Not gonna believe Jodha to be IN LOVE unless she comes out and says it to Jalal on his face when he is conscious and they are very much alive and in this world.. u never know with this show 😆

Love means that u forgive, forget, find ur happiness in the other person's happiness, even if it gives u pain..But Jallu is the only one doing all this heer..Jo is neither forgiving nor forgetting..she puts Jallu in pain(first unintentionally) and then when she knows that he will start repenting(as Moti tells her that the truth is out)she walks off just to prove a point..why?So that he suffers the same pain that she did last night?But is that love..putting ur beloved in pain...for a true lover that wld be like cutting ur nose to spite ur face ..and then when he begs for forgiveness, she refuses to return saying there is no forgiveness for his crime(true love??) no ,true love cannot see the person u love crying and in so much pain & guilt ..True love instantly forgives and openly embraces...No,this is pride,ego maybe..not love definitely no

I applaud you for an amazing dissection of Jodha's dialogues. There is no doubt about it - Jodha's dialogues were consumed with a sense of "self" and "self-righteousness" and you have pointed out every one beautifully and with fact-based accurately.

I am not saying Jodha should have smiled and gone with Jalal ... But there is a way to show self-respect ... You can say "I am hurt / my self-respect is hurt" But you don't have to say "How could you hurt me when I am perfect" and there in lies a big difference, at least for me.

I wonder if you have noticed, but in any thread that critically looks at Jodha's actions / dialogues based on fact and actions, lovers of Jodha rarely come in as there are emotional arguments ... She is so hurt, she is not a doormat, how many times will Jalal make the mistake, etc.

I have indeed noticed that, and time and time again the act and concept of feminism is butchered in the name of women's rights. Is it also her right to downright insult her husband? Is that what nari/patni kartvaye is?

There is a fallacy going on that Jalal has hurt her multiple times and how many times will she have to give the same pariksha ... Like she did in the Ben track. But, to be honest, it was circumstances against her not Jalal each one of those times, from Ruqs MC track to the Ben track. When Jalal understood she was innocent in the fake pregnancy track, he bore the brunt in front of his Mom and even got slapped by her even before he received proof. Even in the Ben track, he tested Ben in front of everyone just on Jodha's one word. That she was proven wrong was not his fault. There is the expectation that Jalal should just trust whatever Jodha does blindly ... Because she is perfect, pure, and self-less.

And that my dear, is definitely more than just the first step towards 'blind' trust. He certainly didn't have 'blind' trust, but he definitely did have faith in her. I've yet to see her do something which will make me say the same for her.

But when circumstances are against Jalal, who cares? He is wrong.

Some people are so in love with the idea of feminism, they advocate women's rights by degrading men. This show, and some supporters are guilty of such support at times.

I truly believe the CVs are showing that she is frozen in the shock of Jalal's words ... She does not remember one thing before and what he and she has done before. Many threads are forgetting the same.

But, somehow, I am not surprised , because this is what happens in each serial. I talked to the head of a channel once ... And he told me how they cater to an audience that wants to see what they want to be in the tv serial heroine including:

-a heroine who does no wrong

-a heroine whose lover / husband comes after her / bows down to her instead of the reverse

- a heroine who speaks up for herself / stands up to wrongs

I am not making any gender stereotypes here ... But it seems to be a perception in the industry and most shows suggest this- and these past few weeks of Jodha Akbar seem to suggest that is true. But, now it has come at a severe expense of what both Jodha and Jalal used to stand for.

And believe it or not, I like both Jodha and Jalal but am equally critical of depending on the track. But, I just don't relate to this Jodha anymore who once told Jalal to forgive Sharifuddin "Because he hurt me and not you." She is contradicting herself by her actions today.

And, what does Jodha keep asking Jalal forgiveness for? Like in the precap?

The man also has his ego , his sef esteem , his self respect , pride etc . . . , he is still not cured from this EMOTIONAL REJECTION , but he put everything aside when he came to realize his mistakes and went on her search like a panicked horse , not counting also that when he the TE belittled himself at an extent to lay down on ground as a mere , poor and miserable dead corpse , he revealed his pure intentions to her , she gave him again a DHAKKA 😡😡🤢 , for him , her husband , zillelahi of awam and the immense Mughal Sultanat , her pati parmeshwari 🤢🤢 , even knowing that the past DHAKKA has troubled Jalal enough , she could have behaved herself infront of everyone ! HOW CHEAP AND HUMILIATING OF JODHAA ! And she is the one supposed to change the Jallad into Akbar the Great 🤣🤣 I am becoming silly 🤪 My heart sank for Jalal , who still abased to that extent by his wife infront of everyone kept pleading and calling her name 😭😭 Really that was the part Jodhaa DISGUSTED me the MOST 😡🤢🤢 !

You know what friends, I have been ffing all the past epis since 4th April, just for understanding Jodha - and there is one consistency that I noted - though the CVs started with showing more parts of Jalal's outburst as her FB, it has been consistently reducing, and now it is only concentrating on one line and one line only - I release you and free you from this rishta and Leave the palace before morning - and she is frozen here.

Now for a psychologist this is very very interesting - I would now like to see how the CVs present this - but my way of thinking is this - I would say that she knows she is the main culprit here and those words that tell her to leave are synonymous with her having lost Jalal due to her own actions - who, she has now subconsciously realised, is all that she desires but does not want to admit - agar yeh angle diya jaaye toh this to my way of thinking may be interesting.

As for the stunt the makers made Jalal pull - I will never forgive them for it - I hope lashy gives the Zee guys an earful for this tomorrow when she calls them up!!!
