Soumya began her acting career in 2007 film Om Shanti Om as audience in Rishi Kapoor's dance performance.

Seth started her acting career with Star Plus serial Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawal playing the lead title role with Shaheer Sheikh . She just causally gave the auditioned forNavya and was selected for the lead role. She had played a supporting role in the show V The Serial on Channel V. She had appeared on Dil Ki Nazar Se Khoobsurat as the female protagonist and lead along with Rohit Khurana. She last appeared as Sara in Yeh Hai Aashiqui on Bindaas TV and also hosted one of the episode of MTV Webbed season 1 on MTV.
