CVs Akbar was an emperor if you forget not a road romeo that he will fake his death to make Jodha forgive him.
Chasing her for forgiveness like this itself is too gross and faking death is the limit.
Do CVs know what an emperor is? what is his respect, status, value?
Please do not take today's politicians who do any nautanki to grab TV time as an example to write scenes of an past king.
In those times money, position etc never mattered much as self respect and honour
I doubt Akbar would have ever cried in front of his mother, sister, wives or kids too you are showing him cry in front of soldiers, citizens for nothing??? Have you heard of stiff upper lip that was followed long before by indian royalty before british. There was decorum followed in everything so much that father would not hug son in public etc pls read on mughal decorums
I doubt any human would dare throw stones at Akbar and you did that too??? Is he some majnu that people pelt him stones while saving some women
Now you want him to fake death to convince Jodha of his love???
You have already reduced the respect of a mighty emperor below any expectations not so low
There are young kids watching and wrong impression will be created about a historical figure, This is not any saas-bahu show its about a great emperor who lived. Just because his ansectors are not alive to question degrading historical figures is not good.
Even Adham Khan and Sharifuddin villans have not been shown so degraded in show. And Jodha too she is an princess and future empress please show her as mature and regal not some 1950s heroine or 21st century girlfriend. She was an empress, wife of an emperor and mother and grandmother of futrure emperors.

I agree.
Akbar the Great wouldn't have done any such thing.
The show's story is being twisted and turned by such unusual tracks and elements.
Feigning his death is truly insane and the limit.

Also there was mughal picture portraying how Jehangir was waiting to get an appointment to meet with his father. When such rules were prevalent, this road side romeo phase of Jalal in the serial is 🤢

Do I even have to say that I super agree with this post??? 😆
This is exactly what I am feeling right now
Every episode, every scene they are stripping off Jalal/Akbar's dignity, his pride, his self respect forgetting that this is Shehenshah Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar they are showing and not some roadside romeo...
Every episode they are showing Jodhabai as some nakhralu 21st century girlfriend and not a princess or a begum or the future Marium - uz- Zamani..
Some people might believe that the Teda Jalal is back if he fakes his death for whatever reasons, I don't see it that way... I cannot bear Jalal lying there dead in front of so many people to get a wife to react or say she loves him or whatever...
Some people might believe Jodha is trying to forget all that she has left behind hence we see her smiling and all well it aint so easy to forget the love u had just realized or forget that ur husband had gotten badly hurt the previous night and smile and giggle and happily play holi 🥱
There is no history left in this show 😔

OK, I have a different point of view on this. I agree Akbar the Great would NOT have done this.
But the point is, who is Akbar the Great????

He is still Jalal. The show focuses on the journey of this man from Shehenshah Jalal to Akbar the Great.

And, the most important thing, this is a show. Just because CVs are showing a king, they cannot forget that they have to wage a war of TRPs too...

That does not mean Jalal would have acted like 21st century teenage lover and run behind his wife. CVs must remember this is period hisdtorical serial not some fiction story.
Look at Mahabharat CVs they take liberty to tweak story but do not make Arjun run after Subhadra and Draupadi. Viewer will like yes may be this had happened. In JA you cannot belive many secnarios. Akbar always following what his wives, maham anga says, no brain of his own.
Akbar was first a king he has duty towards empire and citizens first cannot just leave and go behind wife, mom, sister, son etc. There is a certain level of dignity to be maintained for such position. And what is this journey from Jalal to akbar his birth name was Akbar after his maternal grand father name. Jallauddin was his grandfather Babar's first name and Akbar was Hamida's father name was given to him after birth. So i do not understand what makers mean by journey from jalla to Akbar yes journey of boy emperor to mature emperor is OK. Every human changes every 3-5 years because of his life experiences and so did Akbar. To show that you cannot degrade his character.
Will they ever show Obama or our President doing all this no, same is for Akbar. He is not come common lover or man he was an emperor. He has to maintain dignity of his office cannot act like a teenage lover in front of citizens. Inside his bedroom/palace he can do that not in front of anyone else. Even there if you read moghul decorum they had elaborate procedures for everything even wives could not meet emperor without prior permission. Forget wives salim his son would wait for permission to meet him.
In 21st century we just barge into our family members room that was not case then that too with emperor. So such a person going behind seraching for wife, begging her to return and wife refusing him, pushing him it cannot even be imagined forget shown in show in name of journey from jalal to akbar.
CVs have a moral responsibility to show the right thing about how people were at that time. Otherwise they are doing a big disservice to younger generatiions who may assume Akbar was like this which he was not?? He was a great warrior and administrator not a lover boy like shah jahan.

How I was wishing so hard that this NAUTANKI SEQUENCE of Jalal's PRETENDING DEATH could be Jodhaa's dream , whether , Jalal committed misdeeds but he wasn't the only one , for well being cause or not the one responsbale for the expandation of this MU and trouble wasn't only Jalal AT ALL , Jodhaa has also her part of responsability , how I hate CV'S to show her as saint meanwhile my Jalal , my Emperor , my Jallad , roaming like a miserable beggar seeking for her pardon 🥱🥱 There is a quote invented by myself in which I totally believe "IF THE USUAL PERSON KEEPS BENDING INFRONT OF THE ONE WHO NEVER ADMITS IT'S FAULT , THEN IT'S HUMBLENESS AND GENEROSITY WILL BE THE MAIN CAUSE OF IT'S EGO" , sure Jalal should seek forgiveness for HIS PART OF MISTAKE but for god sake not only him 😭😭 And to seek pardon he shouldn't BELITTLE himself 😡😡 I don't like this AT ALL , why this sudden angelic behaviour Jalal , sure you are going to any length to be forgiven for your misdeeds but in this part , you weren't the only ONE to be BLAMED FOR 🤢🤢 All this to make Jodhaa confess her love DAMN ! This show is no more sounding like THE EPIC LOVE SAGA , but THE AGONY OF LOVE , if Jodhaa loves him then she should resent it by her own , freely , in liberty , without any forces or obligations by circumstances of events , no pressurizing or NAUTANKI EMOTIONAL FOOLING DRAMA at that entent to make her admit , she should do it by her OWN , her own SENTIMENTS , love isn't something to be seeked to earn , it's automatically felt by the wanted person by her wish ! No more balance between the characters CV'S because you're making it A HELL HORROR FILM 🤢😡😡 This grace , this divinity , this rareness , this passion , this love and this elegance are beginning to fly away day by day , JODHAA AKBAR movie was even more lovely and elegant comparing to this phase of track ! I can't agree more with you Prem , nice post 👏👏 and Jaya , I agree with underline part 😃⭐️⭐️
