'Call me Krishna'
TV actor Sachin Sharma's changing his name in real life to Krishna — his small screen popular character.

TV actors are often better known by their character names than their own names. Be it Tulsi, Parvati, Bani or Nimmo... the list is endless. In Sachin Sharma's case too, people know him more as Krishna, the character he played in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Sachin's glad about this. Not just that, he's now even changing his name. "Call me Krishna," he says. "I quit Kahaani... two years ago, but I'm still best known as Krishna. People call me by that name on the road. Even on the sets, I have most of them referring to me as Krishna. Actually, I'm beginning to like my new name. So I've decided to have this name now."
So will he go through the necessary formalities involved in changing a name? "Not right now. May be little later. At the moment, I'm just telling everyone — family and old friends — to stop calling me Sachin." We get the point Krishna!
