First things first...Welcome back, Ashish! So glad to be rid of the awkwardly placed BDs...phew.

After many days, Rudra and Paro TALKED in a scene...with some really nice dialogues...I really enjoyed the Phool aur Kaante conversation...Rudra never said it directly but he consider himself the thorn in her life and when Paro put in the "bhagya" bit yet again about how one can't choose if their destiny makes them fall in love with thorns😆...Rudra's expression in response😆...today there was the thehraav I've been wanting to see in their scenes since many days...this scene had it :-)

But ofcourse if Paro gives him love gyaan, Rudra has to be extra rude to her and hands her a mattress to go sleep on the floor...LOL@ his choohe-billi ka khel mat khelna line😆

These rats are the biggest cupid in this show...without fail they scare Paro every night it seems😆...but for a change, Paro doesn't get into bed simply cuz of the rats...now the rats have some BATS for some company...three crazy peeping tom bats...the appalling cheapness that they are showing regarding people peeping into a married couple's bedroom aside, Paro was cute in this scene...her attempts to wake up Rudra😆, get his hand out of the way so she can sleep, then having no choice but to curl around his arm and sleep😆...and when she finally tries to leave after the peeping bats leave, Rudra's arm invariably falls over her😆

Paro responding to Rudra accusing her of trying to seduce him was also a well done scene😆

Then came the most cringe-worthy part of the epi that I had to mute through...why oh why the singing...When they showed Paro blurting out why she said he sings KKHH for her in the beginning, I was hoping the mention would be enough...but no, it wasn't my lucky day...they had to play the whole charade out...I couldn't pay attention to anything else in the fake manaaoing scene cuz the singing just killed it for me.

Things picked up a bit afterwards though cuz there was a tashan scene b/w Rudra and Mohini after many days...hallelujah😆...Loved the "Dimaag ke badtameez ghode" line😆...and then later on Rudra telling Paro not to fly so high cuz he sang for her😆...Paro burst that bubble of his quick for a change...one good thing she's done...told him never to sing again...Amen!😆

The Chamgaadadh waali line in the precap obviously inspired half of this post...I hope there is no more of this peeping tom crap...

Btw that article said Rudra would THANK Paro by singing that song...where was the "thanking"?😕😆...Thank god for that...Thanking makes no sense at this point.

I mute the singing part to be honest not out of character at all but it was cringe-worthy. I'm waiting for Rudra to get his job back and we can swing back to the intensity of the show I was getting used to the show intensity. I liked today's episode as a refreshment from the darkness as of late but I'm missing the darkness alot at the sametime. I don't like cheesy romance at all 😭

Anu- I just saw the episode now and after reading all the posts on the forum today- and I've decided that thats the only way I can keep myself 'SHANTTT'!! Bas I think instread of cringing and flipping out almost everyday- I am going to do this- especially till that Peppy Phulwaari is here😡 Uske liye toh Rudraa ka sexy SHANTT bhi nahi kaam karega! U know who she was reminding me of- that madhumakhi in LTL- same eyes popping out with hyperexcitement expressions! Damn- how and why do they conceive such dumbwitted nitwits? Bhai- samaj seva/human rights ki checklist main top order queschaan hai ki- How does your pati manao you when u fight? Kya Baat! And Guidelines main likha hai ki- peep inside the bedrooms of victims???

Yes its always nice when they talk- but I find them too short- bahut jaldi khatam ho jaatein hain. I can imagine Rudra not even wanting to further these kind of convos- ki pata nahi kya bhagya- niyati leke chaloo ho jaayegi phir. Yeah- there is a difference- D used to listen to N before the hate shaadi- their relationship was different-so they had the liberty to stretch those convos. Here Rudra will tend to get prickly- hes fighting with himself- and even if he's drawn to her words- the very fact that he gets drawn to anything she says- will rile him further! Vaise bhi he is so world weary and cynical- so this bhaagya and worship crap becomes doubly unbelievable to him.

U know-I need to thank you- your post made me so prepared for that singing part- that I actually watched it without headdesking and face palming! It was - what can I say abt it 🤔 Just that *fingers crossed* its the END- though today Ashish in one of the SBS/SBB segments has nicely forewarned that you might get the pleasure of seeing him DANCE too in coming days 😳 YES- thats coming too! So please watch the live eisode that day and write a nice review- so that after 5 hrs when I see the episode I am fully SHAAANT and not flipping out!

Kaakisaa and Rudra tashan is awesome- and they get the best zingers- bilkul deadly ones! I love Rudra in his silky sarci avatar.

OK AGAIN- Can the Peppy Phulwaari leave already??? I am prepared to jhelo Damyanti ji for even a month- but get that phoolon ka guldasta out pronto- pliss!!

I hear ya on that.

Frankly the phool aur kaante scene was my fav. in this epi along with the confrontation on the bed...the fountain scene was too cheesy for my taste.

I prefer the grouchy/sarcastic/trying to hide his caring side Rudra...not one being so OBVIOUS about this caring stuff even if he was faking it for the social workers.

LOL@ your irritation with Peppy Phulwari...she's a typical bimbo character put in to drive the contrived situations...don't raise your B.P. over a chindi cameo like that😆...hopefully we won't have to tolerate this drivel more than a few days *fingers crossed*

@bold: LOL are you still expecting D and N from them, Shalini? Come on now😆...you gotta give up on that futile exercise.

I liked what you said about Rudra otherwise...so world weary and cynical...I think the scene had a good balance of him being affected by what Paro said and then getting prickly about it and lashing out at her as usual...and trust Paro to turn even flowers and their thorns into a "Protector" metaphor😆...but today I found it sweet...honestly the dialogues did it for me...good execution today and I didn't even cringe...pleasant surprise for me😆

You're right in that this isn't like DN that the convos could be drawn out...Rudra resists the pull he feels towards her despite himself...her bhagya talks are ludicrous to him on one level yet somewhere they've also started to have an impact...today there was a serenity in Paro in that scene that I liked...it would be nice if they could maintain more of that balance rather moving towards loopy tapasya modes.

I guess this is about as much convo they can have at a stretch for now...unless Rudra is drunk...then he babbles more😆

LOL yeah I saw Ashish mentioning that Rudra might dance...at this rate, I'm presuming Rudra's dancing skills will be better than his singing skills? That was some godawful besura singing today😆

I shall endeavor to make a post if the epi motivates me surely😆...meanwhile you try to be SHANTTT, balike😆

i just love to read your posts, they just explain everything i want to say.
ok , the episode was a good one, loved most of the parts.
My favourite part of the episode definitely has to be the rose and thorn convo between Parud. Its essential to notice that how Rudy considers himself the thorn, the destructor in Paro's life. So he is not in delusion about him being the superior, thank CVs, that they polished Rudra's character in such a subtle and neat way, every step of his is visible. Now, we can atleast not say that he is a man who thinks superior of himself in the relationship, he still gives paro a benefit of doubt, so what if he hides it or claims something else.

secondly moment of the episode was, Rudy and Mohini's verbal tashanwala arguement. I was missing this side of him, and yes finally got it.

Ashish, this guy is making me more vulnerable for this show now. I dont want to be a regular viewer, but still i feel it will be like comitting a crime if i miss him onscreen. losing it for sure. all thanks to Ashish. where was he ? cannot believe TV missed such a talented actor like him. Not fair.

@Dexterrocks: Thanks!

Re: Rudra's POV about considering himself akin to thorns...the way I see it is that he has a chip on his shoulder...he has spent an entire lifetime stewing in bitterness and cynicism so he's become a HARSH person by nature...there is no superior or inferior thing to infer from this...simply that he considers himself a dark, harsh being and not the kind of person anyone would want in their life.

When he said to Paro that destiny has just given her thorns, he was also talking about the way he married her in a harsh, mocking manner...he was almost musing out loud wondering why she isn't scared of him after all that happened...and Paro being Paro explained it to him with a protector metaphor...lol
