The buzz is that Sanjay Gupta has rekindled the romance with his former flame

Hum Saath Saath Hain: Sameera Reddy and Sanjay Gupta

Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta and Sameera Reddy have rekindled their on-off romance.

Reddy frequently visits Gupta's office and the couple has also been spotted together at several places.

Says our source, "Sameera is back with Sanjay.

Apparently, he has even offered her some of his forthcoming projects.

They both look very happy together."

Troubling times

Gupta and Reddy go back to 2004 and the film Musafir, which ignited sparks between them. Reportedly, the filmmaker and the actress even shared a room in Goa while shooting for the film there.

When the media glare got too hot to handle, Reddy flew off to America. Sometime later, she walked out of Gupta's life.

Around the same time, Gupta had marital problems with his wife Anu, who walked out of the marriage three years ago.

Ironically, Gupta has planned to dedicate one of his upcoming short films, Gubbare (from Dus Kahaaniyan) to his former wife. Gubbare is a story about love, life and loss starring Nana Patekar.

He plays a man travelling on a bus who brings a squabbling couple back together. The film's title comes from the balloons Nana's character carries on the bus, supposedly for his own beloved.

Mum's the word

When we asked him about his rekindled love life, Gupta flew into a rage. He said, "When was Sameera in and out of my life, that she is back now?"

He further claimed that he isn't working on any forthcoming film with Sameera. However, he didn't deny that he and Sameera are together again.

"I have never spoken about my personal life before, and I won't do it now. My personal life is nobody's business," he quipped.

After her break-up with Gupta, Sameera was reportedly seeing a New York-based real estate developer called Harsh Toprani, and sometime later, actor NTR Junior (grandson of the late N T Rama Rao). Apparently, Toprani and NTR Junior are no more a part of Reddy's life.
