Amitabh Bachchan says the Abhi-Ash wedding was €˜low-key€™ because of the precarious health of his mother Teji Bachchan. Teji is in the super deluxe ward of a Mumbai hospital and is critically ill. The way he jumped down the stage in joy at an awards function to escort Jaya when she won the award for Best Supporting Actor was admired by millions of viewers.
On his recent KBC appearance, Shah Rukh Khan announced to the whole world that €œmothers are special people. They must be honoured and loved without exception for the unconditional love they give us. I miss my parents even today and feel that were my mother alive, I would have kept my success at her feet and hugged her.€ His love for his mother is evident to all his fans.
