I like Kishore Kumar for oldies. Otherwise I like Sonu Nigam and Shaan. When it comes to ghazals, I love Jagjit Singh. I also really like Kialesh Kher and Atif, very different voices! 👏

I guess with each genre of songs, I have different singers I like. 😊

It is actually very difficult to select one favourite singer. If I go back then Lata, Asha, Rafi, Kishore, Talat all come to my mind. Among the contemporary ones Shreya and Kailash comes to my mind. How do I select one?

Still if I really have to go by one singer ten there's only one - Lata Mangeshkar. She is uncomparable to any singer in my opinion. Reason... well do I need to tell???!!!😃

Favorite singer?...bunches..i mean different genres, and you have different singers...like back in days...Lata would sing the good songs..where Asha would mostly sing cabre songs...aka..."Piya tu ab to aaja", etc...

So its really hard..but like from back days..i would say...

Male- Mohammad Rafi n Kishore Kumar
Female- Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle

And from today's generation..

Male: Sonu Nigam, Kailash Khair, and Shaan
Female: Sunidhi Chauhaun amd Shreya Goshal

My favourite singers are:

Male: Shaan because he has a sweet voice and he can also sing any types of songs.

Female: Alka Yagnik because she has a very melodious voice which can touch anyones heart.

I like a lot of singers, but the current singers that are my favorites are:

MALE - KK, because he has a really fresh voice, be it the beautiful song "Bas Ek Pal", the heart-wrenching "Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil" or the happening "Kya Mujhe Pyar Hai". He is a great romantic singer, and always touches my heart. 😳

FEMALE - Sunidhi Chauhan has one of the most versatile voices I have ever listened to. She was smooth in "Kaise Paheli Zindagani" to ever-sweet in "Hey Shona", to attitude "Crazy Kiya Re" and the superb dance number "Sajnaji Vaari". Her high and low pitch are both fantastic, and I could listen to her voice forever! 😉
