Passion missing in love story

When shall we get to see passion in this love story? I understand that a person cannot be constantly passionate but when you fall in love first few days or weeks atleast passion must be there
Jodha just discovered that she fell in love with jalal and then was told to leave by him. But i do not find her feeling low, the intensity is missing
Jalal is another kind, right from beginning he has had puppy love for jodha always observing her from far but scared to confess. Finally in showdown he confessed so passionately that he loved her. But what has happened to him he is acting like a boy whose toffee fell off somewhere only crying and weeping lately. Crying is not passion at all?
When shall we get to see passion, that longing to see each other, that intensity in love?
OR did 16th century people not love with passion?
As far as i read mughal princes would go to any length to get girl they loved as wife or to prove their love to their wives be it humayun forcing hindal to let go off hamida to himself or jehangir killing sher afghan to marry nur jahan an already married lady whom was his childhood friend or shah jahan waiting 5 years after engagement to marry mumtaz because his dad would not approve of final wedding date????
So where is that passion to meet you love to make them yours against any society, family constraints by jalal and jodha both???
Right now i am just seeing a normal story an husband and wife who did not really want each other marrying for political benefits or to win over country and then after almost a year of fights and MU finally caring for each other. Eventually after few more years they will fall in love(do they have any options in a closed society like india? they cannot divorce and marry agian so better act as if in love) and have a kid. So what is so great many indian and majority asian people who marry go thru same thing?? That does not make a great love story
A great love story is when you want that person at any cost will take any risk to get him and both have same passion(like romeo-juliet, laila-majnu, anthony-cleopatra etc). That is missing currently.
OR is it because its royal romance passion cannot be there or shown?
CVs fail to understand love may be, love is not today you care tommorow you fight and taunt, thereafter tommorow you misunderstand, next day say sorry and i love u again fight?? This is what every husband wife do everday??? How can that be termed great love storyyy?

This show would have been a great one as it started very well. Problem Ekta is stretching it with endless illogical tracks on the way the show has lost its essence and the epic love story that it was supposed to portray.

I agree that it has lost the feeling of that legendary love story. Remember when Jalal saw Jodha in the reflection of the river water, when she was predestined to marry him by Shaguni Bai, when they nearly met when Ruq was hunting deer? All these little moments gave it a feeling of an epic love story, which is lacking in recent episodes.

I still really like the show and the storylines but that PASSION disappeared when their hatred disappeared. They need to bring that element back, but make it loving passion. Also Ive never seen Jodha actually want Jalal PHYSICALLY (all the IF ladies have more of those kinda feelings than Jodha does!)

i completely agree...the passion is missing...thats becos there are too many filler epis...illogical tracks...and most screen space to creeps of Agra pagal khana...some of the tracks have no closure...
but then we can't deny the fact that once Akdha shares the same frame...its passion written all over...

lets wait and watch...once the Akdha meet...passion will be re-written again...

i am loving this current track...for 3 reasons

1)at last relieve from deadly Agra and Agra pagal khana
2)less of fevicol jodi and creeps of pagal khana...they are only there for few scenes that too limited screen space
3)the focus is more on Akdha...

after Ajmer Shariff Track...Amer Track...Fatehpur Sikri Track...Tansen Track...Mathura Track is going to be on my fav list...

i hope its executed well on-screen...there is lots of scope and potential in Mathura Track focusing on Akdha

I think she has landed in the right place in Mathura where she can live like a nun. No wonder she looks so happy, no threat of any physical intimacy. 😆

Me too... I agree... The passion of a love story is deffo missing. It was there before... I would say. Even in the "ghrina" mode - there was that fire if passion during that Ajmer trip, during Sukanya's wedding trip and the best was Badal Kajri 's padhyatra till today. The level of intimacy, passion and love & concern for each other was visible in Badal & Kajri, even though they were not physically intimate and neither had confided their love.
The passionate longing of Jalal seems more profound than Jodha's. I agree that women in those days don't tell these out due to their shyness. But, like Divyam told in her thread, that at least a mind voice of Jodha missing Jalal could be incorporated. May be, am jumping to conclusion, may be they will show in coming episodes.
