RK is all set to unveil the first trailer of Happy New Yearduring the first IPL match tomorrow (April 16)

Shahrukh Khan's last film, Chennai Express, which also featured Deepika Padukone as the female lead, raked in a lot of moolah at the box office. King Khan is now ensuring that his upcoming film, Happy New Year (HNY) directed by Farah Khan also meets the same fate.

And hence the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor is using the best possible platform to launch the first trailer of HNY, we hear. So what is that ultimate platform, you ask? Well, it's none other than the Indian Premiere League (IPL). Yes, if the recent reports are anything to go by then SRK, who is the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) has chosen to unveil the trailer of Happy New Year during the first IPL match between Mumbai Indians and KKR tomorrow (April 16).

Now, that is a marketing genius, isn't it? Or is he inspired by Aamir Khan? After all, don't we know how the perfectionist Khan brilliantly promoted Dhoom:3, which broke all the reigning records at the box office?

Anyway, we are quite excited to watch the first trailer of Happy New Year, which also stars Ms Padukone, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivaan Shah
