I can't agree more, Diya! This thing is just killing me.I understand, getting angry with Rudra will not serve any of Paro's purposes. But there are things which certainly demands a degree of sadness on the part of Paro .. Sometimes, CVs even forget that. With all those horrible things Rudra has done so far, they still create a situation or write dialogues for Rudra which will make you sympathize with him. Whereas Paro being the worst victim of destiny and Rudra's cruelties, her pains are cut short by comedy or something else..I am loving Rudra's character a lot.. and that makes me think sometimes, why i can't love Paro's character equally.. Its because they are not putting a consistent trend in Paro's role. They are just making her do what suits the time.

WOW Diya,
Fabulous interpretation and what an apt song!
I loved your last para where you mention she comes out of the shadow of Parvati to realize that Rudra rejects her tapasya...and how she now have to pass every test he throws at her.
I was wondering will she treat it as her redemption phase for she might just believe that she is in some way responsible for his situation?
Actually, it's having the opposite effect on me now ... when Rudra starts crying, I feel like saying ... okay, really, get over it now!!! 😆I have to say though, that ever since the public confession, I am liking Paro's character a lot ... that is when I actually connected to her ... and accepted that she is NOT anywhere near what I am. She is a girl who has been brought up with the notion that getting married and being a good wife and mother, is her duty and her main goal in life ... nothing more. And her only dream is to have a home and family to belong to ... for an orphan girl, that is her biggest dream.Having a good husband, who is actually good to her ... is a bonus for girls in her position.
