Day 6 (part 1)

The Tale of the Library

After scanning the whole library almost for 23 times, Taani finally got the book she had wanted for so much time. The Fault in Our Stars' by John Green, She had always wanted to read this extraordinary book but was always held up due to the college studies. Now that she finished her all assignments, she decided that she could spare her 20 hours to read this book. She went to the farthest table from the librarian, located at the cosy corner of the library. By "cosy", St. Louis didn't mean comfortable but it meant a place where couples got "cosy". Thankfully, there was no gandi baat' happening due to which she would have to close her eyes. She sat on the long table, and started reading the book.

After searching through the whole college for Taani, he came to the library. And then mentally slapped himself, because library should have been the first place to search for Taani and not the last one. He saw her smiling to herself while reading a stupid book.

He went over to her, and took a place beside her.

"Why are you reading this stupid piece of shit?" He asked her casually, checking his cell simultaneously.

"Don't you dare call this book, stupid. Get that?"

"So what do I call a book where a girl supposedly having lung cancer expected to die, but doesn't where as the boy having a curable cancer dies - This is what I term as S.T.U.P.I.D." He smirked.

"This is what you call, L.O.V.E." She snapped back but instantly grinned.

"Hey, that means you've read this book. Which means that you read romantic stuff, hun!!" She teased him

Knowing that he was caught, he awkwardly smiled.

"Yah, I read this book when I found it bathing in dust in mom's library" He confessed.

"But hey, I found that stupid, okay?" He added.

"Nuh uh. It isn't stupid"

"It is"

"NO" She glared.

After about 10 minutes of "Yes's" n "No's", they both decided to shut up.

"I'd rather help you with books - revenge, action typos" Rey proudly said and went over to the shelf to find one.

"Rey? In case you've forgotten your brains, I must remind you that you're looking for an action book under the biology section"

And she started laughing, and got up to show Rey where the "Biology" label was stuck, continuing laughing.

He moved closer to her, in order to make her shut up her mouth. And it worked. Her cardiac muscles, starting dilating unknown to her and her heartbeat increased with each passing millisecond. Being a biology student, she knew that her adrenal medulla was secreting way too much of adrenaline - which normal people term it as adrenaline rush. And she knew the reason of her adrenaline rush too - Mr. Reyaansh Singhania.

But she gained her senses back, and pushed Rey who was smirking at the moment.

Initially, it wasn't because of Taani's push that Rey fell but because he lost her balance cause being he was lost in her.

He fell behind, right on the shelf making the light timber shelf also fall to the ground, immediately turning librarian's attention to them.

Rey got up rubbing his temple and bum with each of his hands, while Taani giggled. Rey, thank gods, wasn't hurt.

"Reyaansh Singhania and Taani Shekhawat! What the hell were you doing? Thanks to you, the whole shelf has turned upside down. Make sure, that this shelf becomes the way it was before 3 hours. Get that?" and with that the librarian walked off, while both of them received weird glances from the few nerds sitting.

"Ahhh! Three hours!! With no burger or pizza. Just. Both. Of. Us.!!" Taani stomped her feet, and looked in dismay at Rey who too had a bleh' face!!
