Jeete Hai to be pulled off air on 17 May
Despite a big budget and an impressive star cast, Sony's Jeete Hain Jiske Liye will be going off air on 17 May, merely a month after it started. Ayub Khan and Renuka Shahane are the main protagonists of the serial, a remake of the Spanish La Mat Ga Sa.

The show has taken a leap of 20 years recently but is coming to an abrupt end because of some major issues between the channel and the production house.
However, when we contacted the channel, this was the response we got. "When we launched Jeete Hain Jiske Liye, we believed that the show, its characters and its premise will resonate with our viewers and build a franchise over time. Having given our best but not getting the desired response, the channel and the production house took a joint decision to terminate the show."
But Renuka Shahane doesn't agree with the version. "The show is not going off air because of TRPs. Actually, there was some problem between the production house and Sony."
Speaking about the leap she said, "It is not a big deal. Also, we were informed in advance that after twenty episodes, the serial will take a leap."
"The leap was going to happen within 20 days of the serial going on air but because the new set was not ready, it got delayed by a few weeks," revealed Anoop Soni.
Smita Bansal added that "In the original show, the story begins with the leap but, keeping in mind the Indian audience, we have shown the flashback part first."
As per our resources, making the new set for the generation leap alone cost over one crore.
