Supernatural star Jared Padalecki
and his former co-star, Genevieve
Cortese, have settled down and are
living the good life. That is right, Sam
and the demon Ruby are one big
happy family. The couple has two
kids at home, a toddler and a new
baby. Now, Padalecki is opening up
about life as a hip dad. Meanwhile,
Jared has started a feud with new
parents, Kim Kardashian and Kanye
West, by expressing his
disappointment with Vogue for
putting them on the cover of a recent
issue.
Jared Padalecki is truly blessed.
After all, he is married to a
demon...of sorts. The Supernatural
star married his former co-star,
Genevieve Cortese, A.K.A Ruby, back
in 2010. (Yes, we know that real fans
already know this info, but we need
to provide the newcomers with a little
bit of exposition). Now the happy
couple have two lovely children.
Recently, Jared spoke to Hip Daddy
about what it is like raising two boys:
"I'm a pretty laid back parent. I don't
like to hover or helicopter parent'
around my boys. I enjoy letting them
play and watching them explore.
Granted, I'm not going to let them
play in traffic, but feel like it's part of
growing up to fall down and get dirty
and meet' new people and learn by
trying. I try to intervene only if I feel
they are in actual danger, or feel they
are displaying bad behavior (i.e.
saying "no" to adults, throwing food
across the restaurant, hitting, etc.).
They're both still a bit young to
grasp the importance of learning
certain life lessons, but I also try to
be firm and set some sort of
guidelines'".
However, he is not as laid back when
it comes to his opinions about other
celebrities. Jared recently railed
against Vogue for putting Kim and
Kanye the cover:
"Not that I'm a Vogue reader, but,
really?? Kim Kardashian? I thought it
was supposed to be a magazine
about class and style???"
He later posted a mock Vanity Fair
tweet:
"RT: "@ VanityFair : Dear @Vogue,
thank you SO MUCH for turning your
publication into expensive smut. We
were worried you'd remain classy!"
