I found the family's reaction weird. How do you stand and watch something like this happen to a woman... and two of members are fond of Paro.
He was drunk, he did not have a gun, Kakasa should have made his sons hold him back or something...
You know he is doing something wrong, stop him. they showed a very typical of Indian mentality, "Not happening to us, so why should we interfere."
And what was that Faux griha pravesh... I mean Paro is not really married to Rudra, so why all this acceptance. Also, Paro should have protested a little more...
I understand this is a drama and for dramatic effect they did this marriage and also because they have to find a way to get Paro to stay in the house...but why could Rudra not marry her properly and then do this 8 vachan drama. That way the family keeping quiet would have made some sense because Paro would have been married to him legally out of her own choice.
