While Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' celebrated their fourteen hundred successful episodes, Diya aur Baati Hum' celebrated seven hundred episodes on their respective sets.
Taking about Ye Rishta...' first, the entire cast and crew along with producers were present on the sets for the cake-cutting and they were heard chatting about their upcoming Bangkok trip as well.
Heena Khan aka Akshara of Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' could not hold her happiness on this special day -"We are so blessed that we have celebrated fourteen hundred episodes. Our show is the longest running daily soap on television now and still in top five in TRP list."
When asked about her Bangkok trip on this special occasion, Heena says "Yes we all are going to Bangkok to shoot a family holiday sequence. Our show is so successful and we have not gone out of India in all these years so makers decided to bring a foreign holiday track in our show. However dates will be decided by channel. Most likely it's happening in third week of April. So you can say that we have an extended celebration of fourteen hundred episodes."
