I don't know where to begin. Is it the scene where husband sleep on wife's arm, or when wife quietly asked whether husband thinks of her as a 'gunegaar' or when wife tells her MIL she will find her SIL or when husband naively asks about wife's unwavering faith in God. Today's episode was so rich in emotion and content it was a treat to watch.
Okay let's just go in chronological order.
A) Chikne Baal
Zain and Yaya (I call Aaliya Yaya, if you read my chronicles you'll understand why haha!) are beginning to get comfortable around one another and they haven't even realised it. Zain could easily have walked off in a huff instead of actually sitting down, so we know that there is something beginning to brew. Let's not get too ahead of ourselves what I mean is that trust is beginning to bloom between the two. I personally can't wait for Zain and Aaliya to become friends! Their banter is hilarious haha!
B) Buenos Noches and Good Morning!
He realised that he had slept with her arm the whole night, he thinks she's crazy but he still appreciates it. He then finds himself in a pickle when she wakes up and his arm is wrapped around one side of her neck. His mechanism out is making a joke out of everything and hers is throwing back whatever he throws at her. They are both a muddled mess. It's endearing, really ;-)
C) Mamis the word!
Aaliyas promise to Surraiya was very sweet but a little dramatic in my opinion. Don't get me wrong I love that she wants to find Barkat but I think instead of saying 'I will find her' she should have said 'I will try my level best'. That's just me being nit-picky with dialogue because I have really high expectations of BI, but hey knowing Yaya she won't stop until she does! On the whole though the scene was lovely, esp when Zain stood there looking at his wife in support.
D) Understanding
I think my favourite scene has to be when Aaliya quietly asks Zain whether he thinks she's guilty. Pree did a fab job with those lines and expressions. Zains response was so un-Zain like. The Zain we knew from the beginning of the show who was looking for any excuse to get rid of Aaliya would have held this against her- but Zain was so understanding and so accepting it was beautiful. It was so human and so natural gahhh I loved it!
E) Inextinguishable Faith
Zains innocence was so endearing. He hasn't seemed like much of a believer to me, but I think Aaliyas unwavering faith will open his eyes to the beauty of their religion.
Today's episode was a motley roller coaster of emotions and it's only gonna get better. Let the search for Barkat Abdullah commence ;-)
