Arnav - Khushi - Life Part 33

"KHUSHI!!!" all shouted together.

Arnav holds Khushi tightly, not letting her fall. She is panting badly. Her cheeks were red with the finger marks as someone slapped her hardly. Blood is oozing out of the corner of her lips as they tear up little. She had a cut on her forehead from where the blood is coming, making her skin and dress redder. She is shivering badly. They can see some scratches on her hands. They can see some bruises on her body.

"Khushi...," called Arnav. He can't believe what he is seeing in front of his eyes. "Khushi..." he again called her, but he didn't get any reply.

"Choti...," called Aman.

Khushi looked at Aman with tearful eyes. "Bhai..." saying this she hugged him tightly. She shivered badly.

"Choti... what happened? Why are you in this condition? What have you done to yourself?"

"Bhai... in that room... he... he... that man... he tried to... kill..." she said pointing her finger to her back. She is scared. Everybody looked at that direction where her finger is pointing.

"What? Who is that man? He tried to kill? What are you saying Khushi?" asked Arnav.

"Believe me Bhai... he tried to kill me. I defended myself. I tried most to escape from there. In that process, I bet him little. I'm scared Bhai... please can you check with him, whether he is fine or not?"

"What the!!" escaped from all, with shock and surprise.

"Khushi you bet him? What are you saying Khushi? You are tensed about which man? Here you are not in a fine condition and you are thinking about other man? How can you say that? Who is that man?" asked Arnav. But he didn't get any response. It did hit him. So, "Khushi... look at me" he almost ordered her. But she didn't. His anger rose immediately. He shook her little harshly and barked on her "Look at me" Khushi, who is already in a nervous state, started crying in fear with Arnav's shout. "Why are you crying? Talk to me damn it" he couldn't take Khushi avoiding him.

Akash came in front and said "Enough Bhai... she is already scared of the things. You stop scaring her more. Let her relax first"

"You just shut up Akash... don't interfere between me and her. You said you will take care of her. Is this the way to take care of her? What if that man did something to her?" shouted Arnav.

Khushi is stopped crying hearing Arnav's words. Arnav's words reminded her about the incident happened few minutes back. And also she remembered what she did with that person. She immediately turns to Aman and dragged him inside. As it is still morning, there are fewer crowds in the campus. Aman along with others followed Khushi inside. Everybody got shocked after entering the room with what they saw.

"Wooo... Khushi Ji... what did you do?" asked Akash.

"Choti... what's all this?" asked Anjali holding sobbing Khushi tightly.

"Why are you not answering our questions? What happened? Who is this person? Speak up damn it" shouted irritated, frustrated and angry Arnav. Still he didn't get any reply.

"We will talk about this later. Akash help me. We need to take these two to the hospital before college fill with students. Come on... we don't have time" said Aman.

Nodding their heads, Akash and Anjali helped Aman and Khushi. Arnav, who is watching all this, went to Aman to help him. When they turned the man who is lying on the floor, their felt like the sky fallen on their heads.

"Rahul???' everybody looked at Khushi.

She is crying badly. She is not in a state to see the things or hear anything from them.

"Stop looking at her like that. She is shivering with fear. Do what we have to" ordered Anjali.

All the three men bought Rahul to their car and asked driver to drive them to the hospital along with Khushi. They made sure nobody can see them.

"What happened to him?" doctor asked

"He fell from stairs" said Aman

"What happened to her?" doctor asked again seeing Khushi's wounds.

"She is at bottom of the stairs when he fell down. She tried to help him from hitting the floor. But she couldn't. In that process she also got hurt" said Akash.

"Who are you to that boy?"

"We are his enemies" said irritated Arnav.

"What?" asked shocked doctor.

"What else do you expect from me? Here he is fighting with his life and you are asking us all this rubbish? What the hell are you thinking?" Arnav thinking what would happen, if something happen to that Rahul. So he said what came into his mind.

"Doctor please... he is tensed about our brother. So please treat him fast. Please... and also treat her wounds" said Anjali.

Before what the' escapes from Arnav's mouth, Akash held his hand tightly. Nodding his head, doctor went to treat Rahul and also ordered nurse to take Khushi to other doctor.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? IS THAT STUPID OUR BROTHER? HOW CAN YOU SAY LIKE THIS DI?" barked Arnav.

"Shh... Chote... relax... if I don't say that, then what will you expect me to say? Should I say Khushi is the sole reason for his state? She beat him to bring hell out of him? If I say this, what will be the next thing they do? Tell me Chote... shall I say this?"

"No you can't say Khushi name here. But you should have said that any other relation rather than he is our brother. You could have told that he is our maid's son or our neighbour or something else. But I didn't expect you will say this."

"Stop it you both, will you? Think what should be done next. Don't argue on stupid things. And you Mr. Raizada keep your voice down. If I hear you shouting on Khushi one more time, I won't spare you. Just keep your tongue in control. You already mentioned that Khushi shouldn't depend on YOU. So, you stay out of this. We can take care of her. YOU JUST STAY AWAY" Aman knew, how important Khushi for Arnav. And he also knew that Arnav needs to learn how to talk. He needs to know how his words prick other's heart. So he is trying for that.

Arnav little bit taken back with Aman's words. He never knows Aman will get this much angry for his normal harmless words. Doesn't he talk every time like this? Then, why is Aman getting angry this time. He didn't understand why he got this angry. You never understand why others will react like they do. Do you really think your words were harmless? Do you really think your words won't affect Khushi or others? Then you are totally wrong Mr. Raizada. You are totally wrong. Your words definitely had hurt Khushi. I can clearly see the effect of your words. You are totally hopeless Arnav" said his inner sense.

He sat silently thinking about his inner sense's words. He never thought his words, when he says in funny mood, will bother someone like this. Is really my words made Khushi and Aman sad? Did Aman and Khushi take those words seriously? Is that the reason Khushi avoiding me?" realisation hit his mind. Hell... that's why she is trying to avoid me. That's why she is not talking with me, leave talking; she is not even looking at me. And Aman is angry because my words made Khushi sad. And some where I'm the reason for her state today. If she is in talking terms with me, she could have informed me when Akash or NK not responded to her call. Oh god what the hell did I do. I need to apologise to Aman and Khushi. I can't take this hatred from both of them. They are really important to me,' thinking this he stood up to go to Aman to apologise.

"Aman... I.." he got disturbed by nurse, who took Khushi to treat. Aman immediately stood

"Is my sister fine?"

"Yes she is. But she is weak and unconscious, so we gave her drips. She needs some rest. That's all. After drips got over and she gains her conscious, you can take her to your home. Now if you want you can see her." Saying this nurse went from there. All went to the room, where Khushi is resting.

They really felt bad to see Khushi unconscious. Anjali went to her side and caressed her hair lovingly. Anjali look at Aman and Akash with her teary eyes.

"She will be fine Anjali. Just relax" assured Aman.

They sat there for some time and went out to let nurse to check Khushi.

"Aman... I'm sorry" said Arnav

"What?"

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't say those words to Khushi. Some where I'm the reason for her state today. If she is in talking terms with me, she could have informed me when Akash or NK not responded to her call. I want apologise to you and Khushi. I can't take this hatred from you. I know you are upset with me for hurting Khushi with my words. Trust me I sincerely wants to apologise her. And I want to your forgiveness also. I'm sorry Aman. Please don't be so cruel with me"

Aman couldn't take it anymore. He hugged Arnav and said "Arnav, she is a child still. She is scared of the things happening here. She is living alone from her family for the first time. She is new to all these loneliness and all. She needs our support. I can understand what made you and in which thought you said those words. But the way you said is wrong. You all most pushed her away from us. She is finding her family in us. We need to support her. Keep in your mind. Don't be harsh with her. We have to make her understand the importance of taking care of own self. Ok... and but now, just change your expression. This poor expression didn't suits you" Aman tried to lighten the situation.

Arnav hugged him smiling broadly. "Thank you Aman... Thank you for your suggestion and forgiveness. Thanks a lot... I just..." he again got disturbed by the nurse saying "she gained her conscious. You can meet her" everybody rushed to the room. Anjali and Akash are the first ones to enter her room. When Arnav tried to enter, Aman stopped nodding his head in no.

"But" said Arnav

"Not now... give her some time" saying this Aman went inside to meet Khushi. But it's really difficult for Arnav to not meet her. So stood near the window, from where he can see and hear her.

"Choti... how are you?" asked Anjali.

"I'm fine DI... where is Aman Bhai"

"I'm here only Choti. Tell me how you feeling now?"

"I'm fine Bhai... no need to worry. Bhai, where is Arnav Ji... I want to thank him along with you all for bringing me here and also want to say sorry for bothering him. Is he here? If he is then please call him"

She looked at Arnav when he enters the room. Before he could start she said

"Thank you so much all of you for helping me out there. And I'm really sorry for bothering you all. Trust me I tried my best to save myself from that man. I don't want to trouble you at all. Arnav Ji... I'm really sorry. I even don't know that you are coming there at that time. I didn't plan all these" she don't know why she said these words. She doesn't want Arnav to think low about her. So she said.

Everybody shocked to hear Khushi's words. Aman and Anjali looked at Arnav angrily, while Arnav felt guilty about his words.

"It's ok Khushi... actually I want..." before he completes his words, he heard her saying

"Bhai... Who is that man? Did you see him? How is he now?" she asked

It's clear, she don't want to talk with Arnav. He is confirmed the she is avoiding him. Guilt took over his mind. He doesn't want to make things more complicated. I'll apologise to her and make sure she will forgive me. But this is not the right time. I'm really sorry Khushi for putting you in this mess' thought Arnav.

"Khushi Ji... didn't you see him? Don't you really know who that man is?" asked Akash.

"No Akash Ji... I couldn't see him. I saw one man but I couldn't see his face due to low light in that room. Who is he?"

"I will tell. First you tell me, what happened in that room" asked Aman

"Bhai... He tried to kill me. First he played one voice in his mobile, saying that he is angry on me for making him fool. I didn't understand whom I made fool. So I asked him that. He never answered me by his voice. He again played that record saying this that isn't matter anymore. He said he wants me... if I won't agree the he will kill me. I'm really shocked at that time. I don't know who he is. I really got scared when he tried to touch me. I pushed him hardly. He held my hand slapped me. I tried to escape from his hold but he is way too stronger than me. He again slapped me making me fell on the floor. When I fell, I found one wooden stick near my hands. Immediately I started beating him. I didn't mean to beat him. I just tried to save myself. That's all Bhai. Trust me... I am tensed when he fell on the ground. I tried to wake him up. But he didn't. I really got scared. So I ran outside to take some help to take him to hospital. I'm really scared Bhai. Trust me I never intended to hurt him. I'm sorry Bhai" saying she started crying. Everyone felt different emotions at the same time, seeing this innocent girl before their eyes.

Anjali and Aman hugged her instantly to make her calm

"Shh... Choti... relax... he is fine I think. The doctors are treating him. He doesn't have any serious injuries. Calm down... he will be fine now. Just relax... Shh..." said Aman looking at Arnav.

Arnav know what he has to do to calm her, to divert her. So he did the same thing which came into his mind.

"After seeing that person's condition in that room, I thought Khushi became brave girl. But nope, I am wrong. She is still the same cry baby... right Khushi?"

Everybody along Khushi looked at him shockingly. Aman understood Arnav's intentions. So he added the ghee to fire

"Is she Arnav?"

Khushi looked at Aman with an unbelievable look.

"I think Chote is right Aman... whenever I see she is..." Anjali left her words in middle as supporting her brother. Khushi couldn't believe her ears. Everybody here is trying to tease her. Everybody is with that Lad Governor.

"Bhai... Di... This is not fair. Here I'm on hospital bed and are you pulling my leg?"

"No Khushi... we are not... how can we pull your leg? Where will you give chance to others?" said Arnav in teasing tone.

Hearing this Khushi mouth opened in adorable O' making everybody laughing aloud. Seeing them laughing she pouted and looked at everybody. Don't Khushi... don't pout. Don't make things difficult for me' thought Arnav, who lost in the adorable angel of his. After few moments she also joins with them in laughing. Arnav felt happy seeing his angel laughing without any tension. He looked at Aman, who nodded his head in appreciation.

Phewww... I wrote this update in one day... you know this is really difficult for me with managing all other household works. So many asked me to post next update immediately, so tried. But not sure whether it is good or bad.

I am really sorry if I disappointed you guys with my update... Hope you all liked this update.
