Keeping aside this fact there is always the factor that Astha is someone who has managed to trump his ego and his Baba's reputation numerous times. If the face off soon after Aditi poison drama was any proof then I can clearly say that Astha will never win over Niranjan anytime soon. Not at least the way she is going. To trump over Niranjan , Shlok should realise her value , her true place in his heart. For a man like Shlok Agnihotri I don't see how persistence will achieve that. Because even though he cares and feels he chooses to ignore it the moment his ego is threatened or the moment his Baba is upset. How many times have we seen Shlok do that? Do we need anymore proofs?

Just her few moments of ignoring him pricked him the wrong way and he reacted. If that's any proof that's the exact way to work Shlok up. I hope Astha realises that soon. She has the greatest weapon in her possession and yet is blind to it.

At the risk of sounding like a stuck cassette I will say this again , Astha's expecting Shlok with his flows , wounds , gashes and issues is good. That is love for you unconditional. But Astha's accepting Shlok's treatment of her and her feelings with as much callousness as he could muster multiple times through these many months just because he had a crappy past is unacceptable and non sensical. It's time she reacted appropriately. By that I am not asking her to insult Shlok back or abondon him like Swati did. At the least tell him to shut up when he proceeds to insult her parents and her feelings and individuality. Declare your love all you want but be brave enough to defend it and your self esteem as well.
