It always happens in this game that one letter always messes you up; because it keeps coming and you are like damnn I don't know any more songs. But thankfully we still have Geet who always has her songs stocks ready haha. I just love Geet and Arnav arguments, the way he was like Toh Motormouth goa na.

I have never heard that song so I was like lets go listen to that song while I read the chapter. Sajna Aa bhi jaa. Truly Nt said the right thing this song is really beautiful, I heard it first time and I am in love with the song now.

Awee Khushi is remembering when Arnav bought her the whole basket of bangles, yeh judaai abh nahi sayi jati Di. Even Maan is remembering how he bought Geet /Soni earings with the help of no other than khushi Kumari Gupta. Both of the Jodi's are remembering about eachother. Though two of them are remembering the past and two of them are remembering about the present.

OMG yes he sang the same song she sang when he was mad, this is I guess his way of saying sorry lol or making her remember about what she had done for him. It was hilarious how both Maan and Anjali were stupefied about how Arnav was singing lol, they were so shocked. Obviously they will be, they are never heard Arnav sing and now all of a sudden. Even I'll be like that if my brother never sang and all of sudden he does. He is being congratulated like as if he just got the business man trophy of the year.

Awee Arjun and Annie are so cute, everybody were so happy and smiling so much at them, perfect song that you put for them. A proper dance they did, just so romantic.

I am so that most of the songs you post I have never heard them, but this way I get to listen to new songs to me lol. Omg Geet obviously remembers about the song, how she can ever forget anything, except her own memory. I can't believe shyam was late to his own sangeet. But I understand lol during my sister's wedding stupid groom family came like 1 hour late, and by the time they came us teenagers wanted to kill someone haha. And they took such a long time to come in because they were apparently taking selfies. I just couldn't stop laughing when my cousin told me that.

Khushi, Arnav will always be yours all you have to do is be with him and that is all. And geet we all are waiting for them moment when maan realizes that you are Geet and you are Soni too. Dev the saviour of his team.. That song totally describes their situation. How both of them can't even imagine being away from their loved ones. But how both maan and khushi are both hiding their feelings.

Arnav I think you have been listening to the radio a lot. He knows so many songs, that he saved his team and told akash to sing this song. Don't worry khushi you'll get your Arnav back too and you'll be happy as payal is.

Chapter 68 (C)

I like the nickname you came up with for Lavanya. She was like what is he talking about and then nk told her how she is taken was so cute, I am pretty sure that she laughed after a really long time. She was actually sitting on the window and looking at everyone sing and dance, but she was not in a mood to join them. Okie that NandKishor part was hilarious, even she was like have you met my bua ji yet.

Awee Lavanya and Nk are truly made for eachother. But I am glad that Nk told her that keeping this secret of her will never help her, she needs to tell someone if not her family or others than why not nk. And him being him, he will never judge her because he has lived all his life in a western country.

It is really hard to let go of someone you love dearly, but that does not mean that you will sit around and mop. Lavanya needs to get on her feet and embrace what life is bringing her way. This way she will forget about the guy who ditched her, because really he wasn't worth wasting time on. Nk my man you have solved her problem once again. You rock haha.

Even though they don't know each other that well, they are still enjoying eachothers company. Also nk has already made a promise to himself to always keep La happy. He is already falling for her. They just met eachother and literally nk has made her laugh so much with his silliness. Poor Lavanya she never got this much attention from Arnav because his whole attention is on her younger sister.

What a song you sang SJ, even geet and akash couldn't stop themselves from singing, and their antics. Perfect. OMG she winked at Maan, i am sure he was like holy shit she just winked at me. Haha! Love this due.

Yes arnav this marriage will be something Sheeshmahal will look forward, this time there will be not tragedy happening, this time it will only be love and happiness.

Nk was a sweet boy he is, he went and got lavanya and himself an ice cream because he knew that she was sad so he got her ice cream to cheer her up. She was so happy and surprised by what Nk did.

Omg I love you arnav so much, he never gives away a chance to tease khushi. And basically this song is saying that Arnav will make Khushi his no matter what. And khushi being herself she started worrying about lavanya. And obviously arnav had told geet about the names (Heer Ranjah). I felt so sad for Arnav, Geet, Khushi, And Maan. What they are going through.

Only Arnav and Geet can understand eachother. Because both of them are going through similar situation. But hey soon they will have their loved ones back and I for most cannot wait to read about it.

CHAPTER 69. THE MORNING AFTER ANTAKSHARI

Place Sheeshmahal

Day 3 Sunday

It was seven in the morning. NT smiled as she sat in her and Dev's room on a sofa admiring her nail polish. She had just applied them and she quite liked the red color. Suddenly, she felt someone sit beside her and she turned to her side, eager to show her husband her nail polish. But when she turned she did not see her husband but a cage with rat in it. "Eee!", NT shrieked as she got up as fast as she could with her bulging stomach. She glared at her husband who was holding the cage and grinning stupidly at her. "Yeh kya hai?", NT spoke as she looked at the rat with disgust on her face. Dev smiled at her, "Chuha!" NT rolled her eyes, "Woh toh dikh raha hai par aap ise yahaan kyun le aaye?" She cringed when the rat made scuffling noise. Dev huffed, "Tum bhi na NT! Kuch samajhti nahi ho!" NT raised an eyebrow as if saying you are on a thin ice mister. Dev understood her signal and hastily continued, "Tumhein yaad hai jab Geet Bhabhi humaare ghar aayi thi aur unke kamre mein unhonein chuha dekh liya tha?" NT burst out laughing as she remembered the time when Geet had run in the whole house being scared of Chuha. Dev continued, "Tumhein yaad hai phir kya hua?" NT's eyes widened as she remembered Geet going and hugging Maan and expecting him to save her. She looked at her husband in new light as she understood his idea, "Aapko pata hai ki aap kitne genius hain?" Dev smiled at her, "Of course pata hai! Warna itni smart and beautiful biwi kahaan se dhoondh paata?" NT smiled and tried to hug him but seeing the chuha's cage still in his hand she refrained from it and just gave him a sweet smile.

"CHUUUHHHAAA", Maan looked up in shock as Geet came running towards him while looking back and shouting. Maan felt as if he had gone back in past as Geet came running towards him and crashed into him just the way Soni had done a year ago. The moment she noticed him, she hugged him tightly and murmured, "Chuha mere peeche! Mujhe bachaao Maan!" Maan felt shock wash over him and he raised his arms to hug her wanting to shield her from every hurt and pain in the world. But his brain intervened and stopped him at last moment. He pulled away from her and glared at her, "Paagal hogaya ho kya? Ek chuhe se darr rahi ho?" Till then Dev and NT had arrived there along with Daadima and were watching the scene eagerly. It had been Dev who had planted the rat in Geet's room and was now eager to see its repercussions.

Geet's jaw dropped open at Maan scolding her, "Hey Babaji! Main kisise bhi darun, meri marzi! Insaan hoon! Aapki tarah koi robot nahi!", Geet slapped her hands against her mouth as soon as the words were out of her mouth but the damage was done as Maan glared at her with hot red anger in his eyes. NT whispered to Daadima, "Daadima! Kaash popcorn hota yahaan!" Daadima chuckled and nodded.

"Kya kahaa tumne? Ek do dekhke nahi chalti ho, kisi se bhi takraa jaati ho...", Maan was cut off by Geet, "Kisi se bhi? Excuse me! Main kisi bhi se nahi aapse takraayi hoon, mere Maan se!" Daadima whispered to NT, "Humaari bahu toh abhi se biwi waala haq jamaa rahi hai! Dekho toh! Bikul ek biwi ki tarah jhagad rahi hai!" Both the ladies giggled as Geet continued, "Aur waise bhi aapne mujhe pakad liya na? Gire toh nahi na aap? Toh phir kyun chilla rahe ho?" Maan glared at her, "Main? Main chilla raha hoon?" Geet smiled at him sweetly, "Nahi! Aapka bhoot aake chilla raha hai!"

Maan narrowed his eyes at her, "Tumne mujhe bhoot kahaa?" Geet looked at him in shock and then looked up at her Babaji, "Dekha Babaji dekha! Kaise mujhpe chilla rahe hai?" Maan shook his head; not the ceiling talk again! "You know what? Rehne do! Tumse baat karna hi bekaar hai!"Geet shrugged, "Mat baat kijiye! Waise iss chuhe incident ki wajah se ek baat toh clear hogayi!" Maan raised an eyebrow at her, "Kya?" Geet gave a sarcastic smile, "Yahi ki itne dole shole jo aapne banaaye hain, kuch kaam ke toh hain. Warna ab tak toh mujhe laga ke yeh sirf show ke liye hain. Chalo achcha hai. Mere Maan ke taakat ka andaaza mil gaya." Uttering this, Geet flounced away leaving behind a shocked audience. Daadima spoke up loud enough for Maan to hear, "NT beta! Soni ne bhi kuch aisa hi kahaa tha na jab woh storeroom mein phas gayi thi aur Maan ne use bachaaya tha!" NT nodded still in shock at Geet repeating almost verbatim her own words. Maan seemed to be in shock too. Dev smiled and looked at Maan, "Yeh toh hona hi tha! After all, Geet kaho ya Soni, hai toh ek hi insaan!" Maan whipped his head around to look at Dev and Dev looked down. Maan stormed away from the place leaving a smiling Dev, shocked NT and pensive Daadi.

Geet was walking around towards the garden after her fight with Maan. She did not know why but she felt like the scene had happened once before. She smiled; may be it had happened when she stayed at Khurana Mansion as Soni. Mere Devarji se baat karni padegi! As she walked ahead she came across Arnav potting a plant in the mud. She shook her head; AB and his love for trees! Kahin bhi jaao pehle gardening shuru kar denge! Koi bolega yeh ek business tycoon hai! Harkatein toh maali jaisi hai! She looked around the garden to see some of the family members sitting nearby enjoying the early morning. Anjali, Paayal, Lavanya, Aakash, Khushi, Arjun, Naani, Maama and Maami; all were seated there chatting with each other and enjoying the beautiful morning. She was about to go towards them when Arnav rubbed his cheek unknowingly applying mud on his cheek and Geet noticed it. Geet giggled at her brother; yeh AB bhi na! Suddenly, mischief entered Geet's mind and she walked towards her AB. The family members seated nearby were close enough to see and hear everything clearly and all were eager to see what happened next after seeing Geet's mischief filled expression.

Geet knelt beside her elder brother and pulled an innocent expression on her face, "AB?" Arnav looked at her and raised an eyebrow. Geet smiled innocently, "Aapke face pe mitti lagi hai!" Arnav gave her a surprised look and wiped his face with his hand and accidently applied more on his face. Geet smothered the giggle which was threatening to come out of her mouth as Arnav asked, "Gaya?" Geet shook her head solemnly, "Nahi AB! Abhi bhi hai!" The family members lurking around giggled and laughed but Arnav did not notice it. He continued to wipe his face under Geet's guidance and applied the mud all over his face. It was only when he heard a peculiar laughter did he notice the others' reaction. The peculiar laugh belonged to his Afreen, who he noticed was laughing freely after a while. He stared at her mesmerized and would have continued doing it for eternity if Geet hadn't nudged him as they were in front of others and both the siblings did not want the family to know about Arnav and Khushi before Khushi agreed to Arnav's proposal. Arnav came out of his thoughts and asked Geet why others were laughing. Geet solemnly explained that she played a prank on him. At first Arnav was angry but then he let out a chuckle and went to pull her cheek with mud filled hand for which she shrieked and ran off making everyone laugh at the duo.

After few minutes, Geet came back with a water hose in her hand and asked Arnav to wash his face from it. In few minutes, Arnav's face was mud free and Geet turned around to keep the hose back in the garden. Suddenly, Arnav grabbed her hand and when she turned around he winked at her. Her eyes widened and Arnav looked pointedly at the family relaxing nearby and then at the hose in her hand. Geet understood his signal and nodded eagerly. She gave him a mock salute and walked leisurely towards the gang relaxing nearby. Before the family knew it, Geet had turned the hose full force on them. Khushi, Lavanya, Paayal and Anjali let out a shriek while the Aakash and Arjun jerked from their seats. Luckily, Geet did not turn the hose towards the elders sitting nearby so the elders just let out a surprised laugh. Khushi and Lavanya got up and ran away to avoid the water and Geet ran after them. Everyone laughed as all three frolicked around like small kids. Even Arnav stood in one side laughing at the madness he unleashed.

As Geet ran around the lawn, she did not notice Maan coming towards them. Maan, who was coming towards lawn, was talking with Dev and did not notice Khushi and Geet coming towards him. Khushi ran ahead towards Maan with Geet following her with the hose pipe in her hand. At the last moment, Khushi stopped and ran to the side and the hose in Geet's hand showered the water on Maan. Maan let out a shout at the cold water and raised his arms to cover his face. Geet giggled at Maan who was looking like a drowned rat. Dev snuck away from the place wanting to avoid Geet's attention and her new style of giving bath.

Maan heard Geet's giggles and stood still in shock. His mind flashed to the past. Hadn't Soni done the same thing last year? He stood still as Soni's memories washed over him making him weak in the knees. He remembered how he had hugged her when she refused to stop the water hose. Geet giggled again bringing him out of his past. Kyun Geet? Kyun tum mujhe un yaadon ko bhoolne nahi deti ho? Kyun? He glared at Geet. "Geet bandh karo ise!", Maan roared. Arnav hollered from his place, "Nahi Motor mouth! Chodna mat ise!" Anjali, Annie, Arjun, Dev and Aakash looked at Arnav in shock. This was something the prankster Arnav would have said, not the current Arnav. All five looked at each other wondering single thing; was the prankster Arnav back? Was Arnav finally coming out of the trauma of his parents' death? Anjali folded her hands and prayed to Devi Maiyya. Devi Maiyya! Aapki wajah se aaj humein humaare puraane waale Chote mil rahe hain! Shukriya iske liye Maiyya!

Maan glared at Arnav, "AD ke Chote! Baad mein dekhta hoon tujhe! Pehle iss Chote ki paagal behen ko dekhloon!" Geet eeped at his comment but refused to relent the water fight. Maan glared at her again and walked towards her. Geet's eyes widened and she took a step back. Maan advanced towards her and she backed away but she did not put the hose away and continued to splash Maan with water. As Maan was taking longer strides and Geet was taking small steps, Maan came close to her easily. Geet took another step back but her foot hit a stone on the floor and she stumbled backwards with her hands flailing around. Maan's felt his breath hitch and he caught the hand not holding the hose and pulled her towards him. She slammed right into him and looked at him with wide eyes. Their eyes clashed and they stood still as the pipe in Geet's hand pointed towards the sky making the water flow upwards and then splash on to their heads. But Maan and Geet did not notice the water falling on them as they stared into each other's eyes.

The family members looked in shock at the display by Maan and Geet. Arnav smiled at the show; how romantic! Maybe Khushi and I should try this once we are married! He looked at Khushi as he thought of her but his eyes widened as he noticed the family staring at the love birds. Uh oh! I have to stop these two before Di gets it into her head to get them married. If Maan is forced to marry Geet, he will never keep her happy. And he won't say no to Di either! Is sab mein meri behen pis jaayegi! He looked at Geet and frowned; Sorry motor mouth! I will have to stop your romance right away! But don't worry! I am sure you will have plenty of time for it after you two are married! He took a deep breath and shouted, "Moto Mouth bhaag!"

Arnav's shout pulled Geet out of the trance and she dropped the pipe and stepped back in confusion. Maan looked at her in anger but soon his lips turned into smirk and he picked the pipe up. Geet's eyes widened as she got the inkling of his future move. She shook her head, "Nahi Maan! No!" Maan gave her a sweet smile and raised the water pipe drenching her with the water. Geet let out a shriek and ran away with Maan chasing after her. Everyone looked incredulously as Maan chased after Geet around the whole lawn. Geet ran and hid behind Arnav. But that did not deter Maan. He showered Arnav too with the water. Arnav shouted, "Maan! This is war!"

As Maan drenched Arnav who was trying to cover his face from the water, Maan felt someone splash water on his back. Someone water fell on Geet and Arnav too. Geet, Maan and Arnav were shocked at the onslaught. They were even more shocked when they looked at the perpetrator only to see Khushi standing there with a bucket in her hand. She had filled it with water and had splashed it on Maan. Maan narrowed his eyes, "Khushi ki bachchi!" Before anyone knew it, Maan was running behind Khushi with the water hose while Khushi shrieked and ran away. Soon, it became a game for all as Maan, Geet, Arnav, Khushi, Aakash, Paayal, Arjun and Dev ran around throwing water with anything they could find. Tumblers, glasses, mugs, buckets, everything was used as no one spared the others.

Daadima, who was entering the lawn from the house with NT, looked at the chaos in front of them. NT was also wide eyed at the scenario in front of her. Daadima murmured to NT while still looking at Maan and Dev running around like small kids, "NT beta! Yeh humaare Maan hi haina? Aapke always serious Veerji' hi haina?" NT nodded unable to say anything as she was speechless at Maan's antics. On the other side of the lawn, Naaniji and Anjali were also in shock. "Hello Hi Bye Bye! Ee sab log humaar bachche log hi haina Sasuma?", Maamiji wondered and her Saasuma nodded. All three ladies were shocked at Maan and Arnav running around playing water fight with others. Anjali thanked her Devi Maiyya for showing her this day and prayed that her Maan Saab and Chote remain happy and enjoy their life in the same manner forever!

For those who have forgotten the older chapters (which is possible coz I wrote the first chapter nearly two years back) here are the details about the older chapters I am referring to in the story.

1. The scene which NT and Dev are referring to is in Chapter 21 and I would recommend reading it again as it is hilarious!

2. The line which shocks Maan said by Geet is in Chapter 22 and this is another chapter I recommend reading again if you are in need of comic relief.

3. The scene where Soni splashed Maan with water from water hose is in Chapter 33. Read it if you love Maaneet romance.
