So we have noticed that Kasturi and Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai have strikingly similar themes, and today they kind of tried to veer Kasturi in a different angle from Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai, do you think it worked? I think in some ways it did and in some ways it didn't. Angad's mother in Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hain, care two hoots what Angad did in his personal life and what mattered more to her, was the moolah, the fame that Angad raked in. Naina was the mother who stirred up differences between Angad and the love of his life and trotted down the lane that was full of benefits even if it treaded down her own son's broken heart. On the other hand, Devika like Naina although dominating, is a mother who is determined to get her son on track, to understand moral and values and to havve a person picket his faults unlike the other women in his life. Whilst in Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hain, the main villain in the beginning of the show between Angad and Kripa was Angad's mother, here it seems their future strongest supporter would be Robbie's mother. Another difference between KYPH's Kripa and Kasturi's Kripa is that Kasturi unlike Kripa isn't a fan of Robbie, in fact neither in the beginning or now, have they hinted on her ever having any expectations or any knowledge about Robbie.
This is going to be interesting, Kasturi on a mission to straighten out Robbie. I am pretty sure, Kasturi will accept Devika's offer since she needs the job to pay for her father's operation as well money to help out in paying money for their share of the house expenditures...My guess is that Devika will order Robbie to follow Kasturi's orders by perhaps threatening him or something, and hence he will be forced not to do things that he desires to do...I guess Kasturi may been given the job of being Robbie's secretary because that is the only job I think will allow Kasturi to be close to Robbie and straighten him out (Well it sounds queer saying it...but we'll have to see to find out what it's going to turn out as) Kasturi, the simple, moralistic and compassionate girl and on the other hand, Robbie an easy-going, egoistic, charming jerk such contrasting personalities and lifestyles clashing is bound to create fireworks. This love-hate formula has always worked, What do you guys think, will it work for these two as well?
It seems we may have another Sujal-Piyush falling for a Kashish. Sujal being Robbie, Piyush being Ronak, and Kashish of course our sweet darling Kasturi. Haven't we heard the famous saying "It's easy to say, but even harder to do?" Robbie although very open-heartedly declared he would give anything to Ronak, even it's something close to his heart, I wonder if he falls in love with Kasturi and so does Ronak, what will happen? Will stone his feelings and step aside? Or will he fall back on his words and fight for his love from his very own best friend?
At first, I was aprehensive seeing Karan Patel playing Robbie's character, but in actuality I don't think he's that bad. He's not that bad looking either and acts pretty decently, I'm sure with time he will improve like many others. Shubhangi is a pretty lass, her cute smile is so charming and her charm is definitely growing on me. She could improve a lot too, but I wouldn't complain she's doing a good job as well. Aah and Naman, what can I say about him? He''s such a cutie and a decent actor as well, somehow I wish Naman played Ronak's character and the guy playing Ronak played Girish. But oh well, he does impress as Girish, and in fact my second favorite male character in Kasturi.
Rating: I would rate it an 8/10
Keep smiling..
