I think it was a mixture of these options ... Shlok isn't completely clear in his head right now option 1(60%) , option 5(30%) and the last option (10%) ...in his head I think he has acknowledged only the 5th option

Mainly 1 and 6 thrown in. He has taken responsibility for her after marriage as he promised Avdhoot. In an earlier episode when Aastha was locked in his study with swati memoirs, he told Avdhoot that she worked for him n came to his house bcoz he asked her to, hence finding her was his and his responsibility alone. He looked for her everywhere n then went home to tell his baba but he heard aastha shouting n found her.

His love is coming to the surface now which was deeply buried inside him. He can't deny himself anymore now.
