First and foremost, I must applaud the CVs for a new trick to drag the track ... Repeat the scenes from the prior episode. While it was part of Jalal's mindblowing performance from Friday, it was not something I was prepared to face again. And definitely not the mohabhat question, since when is brotherly-sisterly love called mohabbat? Sorry guys, this is a pet peeve of mine but I am sure I will get over it. 😊
In any case, here is my take 5 for today's episode. It was not that bad as we continue to make progress towards the end of the track which is the best news of all. And we saw the great cone everyone was raving about ... 😆
Drumroll please, my top 5:
(1) Jodha's soul talk: Finally, we get to head what is in Jodha's mind, usually a well kept secret by the CVs. That itself was enough to make it to the countdown. I was a bit startled that Jodha denied she loved Jalal but I watched the scene a few times I liked the following things:
- Jodha admits that she made the first mistake by hiding the truth to Jalal
- Jodha's antaraatma clearly appreciates all the steps of love and understanding Jalal has shown ... Reminded me Jodha's soul talk before trying to commit suicide
- I think Jodha's antaraatma did not emphasize Rajvanshi pride because she should act because of her Rajvanshi pride but to show that Jodha now values her love /husband more than her Rajvanshi pride which is a stark contrast to the Jodha of the past ... Perhaps, that was one thing that was always holding her back, that as a Rajvanshi how can she love a Mughal, and perhaps that barrier has been crossed now
- Even her antaraatma knows that if Jodha leaves, she wants to see Jalal coming right after her! Foreshadowing on the future episodes? 😆
- And did anyone else recognize another BIG similarity between our Jodha and Jalal. Their aatma/ soul knows and admits their love first before they do! So, we finally had Jodha's soul confession- critical stage of love Zee style (remember that thread? 😉)
While I am still not sure why the CVs showed Jodha sleeping, at least they showed her tossing and turning 😕
(2) Jodha finally decides to tell the truth to Jalal ... She realizes this is necessary for the purity of all relationships, particularly with Sujamal, as well as to save Sujamal's life. She also knew it would bring "shaanti" to Jalal. While a little late for the circumstances of the serial, at least she came around to tell the truth. 👏
I know everyone is livid at Maham Anga for stopping her ... But how else would the track be dragged and we get to see Sujamal save Jalal's life?
Where is the Jodha who used to resist guards to talk to Jalal in the Tasneem and Ben tracks? Of course, the CVs conveniently forgot that.
(3) Jalal's anger continued to be emoted perfectly by Rajat ... The trembling and the anguish ... What I liked in that scene: Even in his anger, he could not do anything to Jodha's picture with his sword. Contrast this with the Jalal who once burned her picture.
I know some may be upset with Jalal for not meeting with Jodha ... But can you really blame that he is blinded with anger after she admits she has mohabbhat for someone else?
(4) When Jalal said "Jaahiye yahaan se" to MA: The anger and firmness with which Jalal says this to Maham Anga I think is very symbolic of what is next for Maham Anga. 👏
With this thought, I could bear all the gloating of Maham Anga today. But, na jaane kya hoga to our hukka begum? I guess her punishment will be to see the closeness of Jodha and Jalal in the future ... Someone needs to show Ruqaiyya the new promo 😆
(5) Most importantly, Sujamal's truth will be out soon ... We are at the last leg of Sujamal's track with Sujamal taking the arrow tomorrow to save Jalal.
Wonder where the soldiers are that Atgah sent to protect Jalal? Jalal needs to upgrade his security and army big time. 😆
Honorable Mention: When Salima Begum told Hamida Bano "Sabar rakhiya sach jaldi bahar aajayega" - I thought that the CVs were trying to console us more 😆
About the spoilers / promo, I am as confused as everyone else that I think we might as well just wait and watch. The arrow spoiler seems to still hold true which was the first of three Tata Sky spoilers. Perhaps, the CVs have not made up their mind and the tata sky spoiler will change again tomorrow ?!?😉
