I was re-watching the episode, a while back & this line struck me. When Aaliya gets the call, early morning & the mystery man, speaks to her, he says this line.
He asks her to find out, the reason behind why "Barkat" the word is of such significance
in the Abdhullah's lives, when it comes to the name of their house or business or properties.
I didn't quite understand, what he could've meant, when he said " Ya kahiin, Bawdi ki gehrayi mein
khoyi hai Barkat ?"
Barkat is supposedly Zain's sister, who is kidnapped right ? Whatever has the abduction, have to
do with the bawdi. All her toys, the blood-stained cloth & the trunk was near the bawdi too.
Barkat gone missing and the dialogue stated by the man, could have a metaphoric meaning,
where the well indicates, a deep secret that's been, long repressed/hidden. But keeping all her
belongings literally near the well, is strange. And the ban from entering the bawdi area is even
weirder.
If she died, in & because of that well, it makes sense. But since she is kidnapped, the bawdi
makes no sense, until she went missing in the bawdi area years back or something. Still,
none of it adds upto Suriyya's hatred for Bhopalis.
Maybe the kidnapper is a Bhopali ? :/ Has anyone been able to crack that dialogue above ?
I've suddenly a feeling, that this track is gonna work well for the show.
I've complete faith on the CVs, when it comes to ZaYa's story. But logic needs to work right, for the side tracks.
