Since 2000, because no one remembers or were born in 1980s to know what films came out and how well it performed.
Underrated
Gulaal: One of my fav movies. Very well made. Some of the most powerful acting where every emotion looked genuine. Awesome story.
Manorama Six Feet Under: Another very well made movie. I doubt many have even heard of this? Even though its inspired from a Jack's film, this was very well made in Indian terms.
Shahid: If you want to see what acting is, go watch this movie.

Black Friday- Not sure if it comes under the category of underrated because it got very good reviews and people actually watched it. But when it came out it was a total washout.

Overrated: A lot, but lets focus on some very high grossers
Any Salman Khan movie- Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, Jai Ho. Even people agreed these were bad films but when they released everybody still went to theatres to see this crap. It should have very much died down by Sunday.
Dhoom 2 & Dhoom 3; Okay Dhoom was refreshing. Though it was somewhat leaves your brain at homes, but it was entertaining. Dhoom 2 was pretty much same concept. And Dhoom 3 simply painful to watch. The best part of all Dhoom series for me was Aish who received many negative reviews.

W*F was that?
Grand Masti: I seriously don't know what made this movie? Horrible jokes, no story line, horrible acting, bad star cast. The girls used weren't hot. I went with 2guys and 4girls and everyone had the same opinion. The show was houseful but there was hardly any laughter. Only one cheap guy in front row was making smart remarks which made the movie watchable. Otherwise we would have left.
Joker: This movies poster screamed that you should stay away. Further Akshay not promoting the film and Farah getting SRK to promote should have made me kept my distance. But it was that damn boring Sunday and I wanted to not go somewhere far from my home lead me to watch this crap.
