Summary: seventeen half years after Rashid's murder and Gaffur's arrest, Zoya returns to India for it after she got experience as a homicide detective to reopen the case and get justice with helpful hands of a few. Now if Gaffur did not do it and Tanveer's dead so who was the mastermind? And is Tanveer really alive?
(Asad had managed to get Gaffur arrested and throws Zoya out after the case when Zoya fails to get the evidence of her dad's innocence.)

Prologue
A young woman was walking to her home when someone jumped her.
"No! nooo!" They stabbed her in the back as she stood up and ran.
She ran into her boyfriend who was calling her as he hugged her, happy that he found her.
His hand touched the knife and got blood on his hand and fingers.
"Rachel!" he yelled as she fell back on the floor with him holding the knife as bystanders surrounded him.
Meanwhile
"And I never want to see your face again, Mrs. Khan." Asad yelled as he slammed the front door after he threw her bags out.
Zoya sat up, gasping for air and sweating a lot as she stayed on the bed before looking at her bedside clock.7 :00 am its red light blared out as she jumped up into the bathroom.
"AMAN, NATALIE, WAKE UP LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!!!" she yelled as she brushed her teeth and wore her uniform of a white top with black pants, boots and hanging her badge on her neck as she placed her gun into her holster.
"MOM! WE'RE ALREADY UP, AND BROTHER DEAR MADE BREAKFAST FOR YOU SO WE'RE LEAVING!" Natalie yelled from the bottom of the stairs.
"OKAY SWEETIE! THAT'S FINE, LOVE YOU!" Zoya replied as she walked out of her room.
"LOVE YOU TOO!" Natalie yelled from their cousin, Reagan's car, a black coupe from Mercedes Benz.
She laughed knowing how Natalie had taken after her. But she looked a lot like Asad. Aman Asad and Natalie Zoya Khan had the same brown eyes and hair as their father while they had her smile with the same dimples and her skintone.
Their personality was different as Aman represent the old, akdu Asad while Natalie is a lot like her as she is messy and loud as her mother.
Zoya walked over to the window and waved to Reagan.
"Hello Nephew," Zoya smiled as she opened the front door.
"Mornin' Masi," Reagan laughed as he got out of the car and hugged her. Zoya laughed her sweet nephew was a lot like her sister but looked a lot like Ryan.
"How is Jess?" Zoya asked curious about her adorable niece.
Zoya smiled at her niece's name: Jessie Natalia. Her ten year old darling niece was named after her and Sam's older brother, the late Lance Corporal Jesse Nathaniel Mathews. Jesse had passed away in a car accident caused by a drunk driver at an intersection. He was on reserves at home during the time of his death. He was twenty-one year old at the time.
Sam and herself when they were fifteen at the time decided to name a kid after him so Sam named her and Ryan's daughter, Jessie Natalia.
While Zoya named her and Asad's daughter, Natalie. Since Natalie comes from Nathaniel and Natalia.
Zoya and Sam alway chose names that are names of relative like Aman was the name of her father's friend and her basketball coach. Natalie was from Jesse's middle name of Nathaniel. Reagan (her nephew's name) came from Ryan's father figure.
"Dad took her to the hospital since her stomach flu got worse." Reagan grimaced.
"Ah yes, I remember Jess' teacher calling Sam yesterday to pick up Jess so she was pretty stressed out." Zoya explained as Reagan nodded.
"Well Masi, I have to go." Reagan smiled before kissing his aunt's cheek and running to his car.
"Bye Sweetie," Zoya laughed as she walked to her own car.
Within twenty minutes,
Zoya was at her desk with her signature coffee cup. "Detective Khan," Lieutenant Ambrosia Vega stepped in with Sam and Angela.
"Yes," Zoya asked. Curiously wondering why Sam and Angie had a somber look on her face.
"Sis, Rae died in a murder last night. And her parents think it was Alan who murdered her as he was holding the knife." Sam explained.
"What? " Zoya asked standing up as Lt. Vega nodded and left. Zoya couldn't believe it and Alan killing someone was so unlikely since he was the most nicest person ever.
"Yeah, I know and I do know that Alan could never do this unless he was framed." Sam explained. Zoya nodded as she recognized this situation the same as Rashid/murder by abbu case.
"Framed?" Zoya asked herself. Her abbu was framed... That line ran through her mind for the first time in eighteen years.
"Yeah, we just established that. Well I have to get back to the lab and you are not on this case but Angela and Lt. Vega are." Sam told her sister.
Zoya sighed as she sat back on her chair before running through her drawer to find an CIA badge as she was still an agent part time. She also held an Indian Security Badge from Bhopal since the day she left.
She quickly grabbed the phone and dialed a number.
"Hello Bhopal Police Force, I like to reopen a case from seventeen and half years ago."
"The Rashid Ahmed Khan case?" the officer asked
"Yes, the Rashid Ahmed Khan Case. Thank you." Zoya replied.
"Okay, that's fine ma'am but who are you?" he asked.
"Well I am Homicide Detective and CIA Agent Zoya Ahmed Khan of the New York." Zoya smirked.
"Oh Hello Agent Khan, we can do that since you are the daughter in law of that family." he replied.
"Okay so I'll see you all in a week and please don't let the Khans know." Zoya ordered.
"Yes, Agent Khan." he replied.
"Alright, thank you. Bye" Zoya smiled before she hung up and leaned back setting her feet on her desk.
"Here I come, Bhopal!" Zoya smirked.
