Beintehaa
So cliched, yet so different... The characters of Zain and Aliyah are written with a great deal of thought and effort. There are so many layers to each character that unfold over time. Beintehaa to me is about two, not so perfect, people coming together and bonding over time. Many argue, debate, criticize characters based on their decisions, but for me this is non-existent.
Aliyah, who received a lot of flack on this forum, is just like any normal person. The character has a touch of realism. We make mistakes and use our own judgement according to different situations, but it doesn't make us entirely wrong. Zain on the other hand is temperamental and rude, but that doesn't make him wrong. Remember analyzing human behavior and categorizing them as right or wrong is very difficult and not measurable.
Having said that, I want to post my two cents on last week and Monday's episode. I am sure you all missed my crazy reviews and like I said if you didnt then Daffa ho from my post LOL
Let me start off with MY DOLL - Aliyah. She may be hard as a coconut, but her heart is just like any other typical girl out there. Aliyah, filled with gratitude for Zain ponders upon Suraiya's words. No No ... this can't be it... She walks towards Zain, who is conversing with his friend. Is he just mouthing those dialogues? Her heart just sinks. Yes being called Chudail she can laugh it off, but to say "bhoot ki tarah chipak gayi hai". It was something she just could not laugh off. All that she heard was giving weight to Suraiya's claims. Still she had one small hope that he is joking. Just one more time she approaches him to reaffirm whether he really wants her out of his life. As reality hits her, she makes her decision to leave Barkat Villa.
(Quick side note - Is Harshad really only 24? :O headdesk :( ok but still this wont stop me from drooling over him even if he is younger ROFL)
Zain reads the letter. Did she really leave? No this can't be happening. So many emotions are flowing. He can't react instantly. He sits for a while and lets this sink in. Must say he is a sharp thinker. All the flashbacks come right infront of his eyes. He knows somewhere deep down he has become attached to her. It's just not the same without her. He had started to love the bickering between him and her. The word is Aadat (habit). Yes she has become his aadat. His day was not complete without kitkit. He just had to stop her!

And they meet...He cannot admit that he wants her back, but will do anything to stop her. They promise to not hide anything from one another. (Now everyone, let's not take this in the literal sense - this doesn't mean she needs to tell him that she is on her menstrual cycle - ok bad one Lol) This was just one step towards their journey. Trust and honesty. This Story Cannot be left Incomplete. (Humari adhoori Kahani) Zain in his own style persuades her and uses his sharp thinking skills to take control of the situation. The one time when Aliyah fell weak, he became her strength, which is a great quality.
Why did she leave me? Who put this thought in her mind? He needed an answer. He could not see this happening again. Aliyah on the other hand knows that she needs to keep this family together. She does not intend on coming between mother and son and nor be a reason for the fallout. Alas everything is normal. Next morning, Osmaan and Fahad, the two amazing duo persuade ZaYa for an outing. YES! This is what we all were waiting for! Zain needs to feel Sharmandigi for not taking out his beloved wife on a trip Lol .

Do I really need to say anything about the absolute adorable-ness of ZaYa?
Firstly, A commendable job by the cameraman and director. What execution of the entire scene. Can I just mention, how much effort it takes to shoot at different locations with huge crowd. The quality of the show is top notch. I am ready to overlook the small glitches. (A huge round of applause for the train station scene as well)
Coming back to ZaYa. The comical elements in this show is brilliant. Hats off to the writer. For the small gestures in the show, it just makes ZaYa so much more entertaining. I cannot get over the bike ride. So well shot and acted. Harshad and Preetika enacted the entire scene flawlessly.
As much as Zain taunts Aliyah, he cant help but be mesmerized by her beauty and her cuteness. There is something that just pulls him towards her. He gives in just like a typical husband Lol Seriously the cuteness cannot be described in words.
Now we have to wait to see aliyah talk to the snake as if she is talking to her shauher ROFLL Too good Zain Abdullah!
Anyway I am signing off now at 1:30 am in the morning. Even though I have only couple of hours to sleep before I get up at five again for work. The things I do for ZaYa. This is called insanity! 😆 So if nothing made sense blame the lack of sleep =))
