Mission "Revealing Gumaan's Past" is still on. Detective Kumud insists n persists and finds out the Gumaan was Roopmati!
Epi starts with two goons stopping Kumud to tease her. She is saved by a eunuch who shows them a knife and has the two running away. The eunuch notices the anklets in Kumud's hands and enquires about them.
Kumud explains that they are not hers but wants to know about them. The eunuch knows where they used to be made and asks Kumud to follow him. They go to meet a man in a market who confirms that they have been made in Sundar Nagar but as they are old, it is difficult to know exactly their origin.
Some men are eyeing Sundari in the market. As Kumud and her new found friend are moving away, the man in the market asks for the dancer's name. The name Gumaan doesn't remind him of anybody. He knows only one famous dancer of that time - Roopmati!
Kumud is disappointed. The eunuch tells her not to lose hope. He takes her to a Photo Shop who used to operate at that time to know about Gumaan. The photographer has not heard of Gumaan but his dad used to take pics of the dancers. Kumud sees Gumaan's pic. Gumaan is Roopmati!!
To know about Roopmati Kumus has to go to Chandni Bazaar. Kumud and her friend are happy that their hard work has paid off. The eunuch praises Kumud for her courage and tells her how lucky her husband is. Kumud calls Saras but couldn't get through the call. She thanks her friend and goes away as the eunuch cannot accompany her. A man who was following Kumud calls somebody to inform that Kumud is in search of Gumaan.
At home:
Saras is tensed. He realizes that Kumud was trying to keep the family together but he has been acting difficult. He is calling her but in vain!! VC calls to ask about Kumud and proposes to come at Saras' place for arti. Both parents are tensed about Kumud missing stunt.
In Sundarnagar/Chandni Bazaar:
Kumud is still investigating about Roopmati with the two perverts still following her. She reaches to a " dance club" and the owner seems to know about Gumaan.and Kumud is shocked to lesarn that Gumaan is there.
At home:
Saras is still waiting for Kumud. Kusum comes to reassure him that Kumud will be there any minute. The door bell rings. It is Danny and he notices that Saras is upset. Kusum informs him about Kumud not being at home yet. In the meantime, VC and Gun reach Vyas mansion too. Gun gives Kumud a call but fails to reach her too.
At the dancer's club:
The lady calls for Gumaan. Kumud is tensed. Just then her phone rings. She cuts it off.
"Fausse Alerte"!! This is another Gumaan.😆
Kumud goes away. She realizes that it is very late and calls Saras but couldn't talk to him as the man who was following her, stops her to tell her that he knows where to find the person she was looking for. She follows him.
Saras tries to get through her again but she is not picking.
Kumud is again not here for arti. Gumaan comes and taunts about how Kumud organized everything but is herself not there for the arti. Saras is not happy and is restless.
Precap:
Gumaan's sister is talking to Kabir, praising herself for choosing Kabir to fix Gumaan...bearing their mission in mind.
