I'm posting my thoughts on today's episode here. My view may not always be pleasant and I don't want to spoil anyone's mood. But at the same time I value my freedom very much. So I decided to post a warning sign, for people who stumble upon this post, so that they know what to expect.
I'll post one of these symbols on top of my view on the episode everyday. So that people with delicate constitutions can avoid strong ones and read only pleasant ones

Danger Caution Pleasant

EBP
29-MAR-2014

Shlok gains consciousness, he remembers what happened before they lost consciousness - He extended his hand towards aastha and she placed her hand in his inspite of pain. They tried to draw closer to each other but lost consciousness.

He tries to wake her up, but when she doesn't come to her senses after a few nudges, he panics. He checks if her heart is beating and when he finds her hand move, he shakes her up some more until she opens her eyes and says his name. He hugs her tight and he doesn't pull back, like always, until after a long time, which means he is very much shaken at the thought that he might have lost Aastha. When he finally relaxes the hug, they both realize at the same time that the other is hurt. They bandage each other and by that time Shlok starts to ease into his comfort zone. He avoids looking into Aastha's eyes and starts acting as normal as he could. But Aastha being Aastha, doesn't let him be. She starts asking uncomfortable questions like why Shlok saved her life by risking his own. He gives her a new nickname, "Crackpot", and walks away ordering her to follow him as they have to find their way back to the main road. When he looks back to see if she is following him, he finds her unconscious on the ground. He lifts her up in his arms and and tries to find the way out of the jungle. When Aastha regains consciousness, she asks for water. Shlok manages to find some water for her in the jungle and quenches her thirst. They finally manage to get out of the jungle to find Varad blasting the police about their inefficiency in finding them.

Abhay gets temporary relief from his worry regarding breaking the Jyothi missing news to the Agnihotris. When he goes to Agnihotri mansion with the pretext of offering his sympathy and support, though his actual intention is to check if Jyothi is hiding there, Anjali herself tells him not to inform her pregnant daughter about the mishap. So he doesn't have to bring Jyothi over to the Agnihotri mansion.

Jyothi on the other hand is worried about her situation. She is worried that Abhay might be on the hunt for her and she feels that its improper to burden a stranger. She thinks she should get help from Aastha by calling her from a PCO. Meanwhile Sid is busy trying to make a good impression on Jyothi. He tries to clear up the empty beer bottles under the bed, without attracting her attention, so that she doesn't think he is a drunkard. Cute scene that was. He tries to help her open up with his gentle humor. He asks her if she doesn't have the habit of taking a bath as she is in the same clothes for since the day before. He suggests they go shopping and buy some clothes for her but Jyothi panics at the thought of going out as she is scared of getting caught by Abhay. Wonder how she was planning to call Aastha from a PCO?

The difference between Anjali and Kalindi was so starkly evident today.Just like Kalindi suffered before, Anjali also suffers domestic abuse and they are both worried about their children's well-being. Yet Anjali showed so much more poise than Kalindi in tough times. As soon as Shlok and Aastha came home Anjali told Sojal to inform Kalindi about Aastha's safe return, without having any bitterness regarding Kalindi's outburst before. Kalindi on the other hand, tried to take Aastha away from there by disregarding the court orders. Admire Kalindi for supporting her child without giving a damn about the society but also admire Anjali's grit and grace. Felt that Aastha is a slowly incorporating best qualities of both these strong women in herself.

Niranjan doesn't feel like eating or drinking anything until he sees that his baccha is safe and sound. In the morning when Abhay came to see him, he was angry, defeated and restless. He was completely shattered at the possibility of losing Shlok. He took it out on Anjali by throwing the cup of tea she brought for him. He didn't even care that Sojal was witnessing his real face. He was not himself until Varad informed him that Shlok is safe and that he is bringing him back. He once said that Shlok is his pride and strength. In the night, when Anjali requests him to drink some juice at least, he refuses again and tells her that he won't take any food until he sees his baccha. He tells her proudly that Shlok can never cause him any pain and he knows that his baba cannot survive without him. His strength came back when he finally saw Shlok and he rushed to him and hugged him with tears in his eyes. Niranjan can feel too! Shlok assures him that he can never cause him any pain and he never will. Poor Shlok! It would be nice if his baba also reciprocates this love and vows to never cause him any pain with his manipulations, but I'm not sure if Niranjan would do that. To his credit, he did ask if Aastha was doing alright. He walks off holding Kavya's hand. Am I seeing a slight change in Niranjan?!

Kalindi rushes to the Agnihotri mansion after she gets the news of Aastha's safe return and she tries to take her back to their house. She thinks that Shlok is trying to kill Aastha and she is not safe in that house anymore. Aastha explains to her about everything that happened on the trip and tells her that Shlok is the one, who saved her by risking his own life. Kalindi is still not convinced and says that she doesn't trust the Agnohotris. Aastha tells her that its a matter of only two days and she has to return to her anyway. Kalindi fails to convince Aastha to come home with her and she walks off in anger and despair. So Aastha has given up hope that Shlok will ever tell her what he feels. Shlok listens to this whole conversation but doesn't say anything. He simply turns back and leaves but his hurt was evident in the way his Adam's apple was bobbing, as if he was swallowing his pain. Wonder what turn their relationship takes in these coming two days?

Loved the episode. Avinash, Shrenu and Manish excelled. Absolutely loved their scenes. Rest of the cast did great too. I didn't mind Abhay/Sulbha scene as it was not repetitive. Very limited presence of Aditi and thats how it should be.

thanks decemapr. loved niranjan-shlok scene. there is a strong attachment between them but niranjan's obsession with shlok is unhealthy in the sense that he tries to control his son's life at any cost.

Very nice review Rekha, and Yes I agree NA is changing. He has understood how important all his family members are for him and that includes Astha and Kayva. He also understood that losing Astha is losing Shlok. So if he wants Shlok he must accept Astha as Shlok will give his life for Astha. So Ashlok secure form NA for now. Also NA does not acre about outsiders and makes Aditi understand that she is not part of his family. She is an outsider. So he takes Kavya with him and Aditi is shown standing alone. May be he will now understand the importance of Jyoti too as Kavya and Jyoti are in same position and he will stand by her side holding her hand and save her from Abhay.

Nice write up Rekha..
Felt today that Shlok isgetting drawn towards Astha and slowly getting withdrawn from Baba too. The reason being he initiated hug with Astha where it was Baba who came running and hugged Shlok.
So, these 2 relations equations are also changing slowly. Wonder how much Shlok will get withdrawn if he knows his Baba's true colors!

thanks suchi.
regarding Jyothi, if niranjan finds out that she is missing, he is going to kill abhay, more for the love of his image than for the love for his daughter. IT raid and Avdhoot case also damaged niranjan's public image. he won't spare abhay. but i have my doubts regarding him accepting jyothi as he is obsessed with agnihotri honor. a pregnant daughter, who ran away from her husband, who is a criminal, is like a black mark on his perfect family portrait. he sent his widow sister to live in ashram. i don't expect too much love from though he did understand the importance of family.

shlok was drawn to aastha since their first meeting. niranjan chose aastha for that reason mainly. of course, avdhoot's crucial position in getting the lands sanctioned for his institutions was also on his mind.

shlok is very attached to niranjan. he doesn't always act according to his father's wishes but he will at least make it look like he did. he can never hurt him as he said today. he said similar thing in the first jungle honeymoon too. he said that he didn't want to kill that black dog and hence was trying to distract its attention from aastha, here that black dog is niranjan. because he loves his father. aastha entering into shlok's life has complicated things because shlok is constantly torn between his attachment to aastha and his attachment to his father.

Great review Rekha! Nice analysis on NA. I am not sure if NA is finally seeing the light (hope u r right though), but one fact I am sure about now that he is nothing without Shlok. His entire strength lies with Shlok and his support. If something comes to happen to Shlok or if he distances himself from NA, the master manipulator will be broken and destroyed. Today and yesterday we saw the face of NA that we though never existed. Like u said he proved he has a heart regardless of how selfish he is. He draws his strength from Shlok and somewhat from Anjali. These two characters are his pillar of support, whose meekness and obedience allows him to become a god-like figure thus encouraging him to abuse them whichever way he likes. The only difference is with Anjali he can show his true face of an abuser while with Shlok he abuses him indirectly by manipulating him in a way that affects his life and the people around him. So I feel today we saw a glimpse of how NA would be if ever Shlok decides to rebel his baba and hurt him. He will become weak and vulnerable who may seek to find support from his last option, Anjali.
However, I was left surprised when NA lovingly held Kavya's hand and took him away without bothering about Aditi standing there. For once I was glad to see NA's behaviour with Aditi...He was least bothered about her like at that moment it was only him and his family that was important for him...not any outsider!

Ashlok scenes were awesome...amazing...mindblowing!!! 😆 Honestly I haven't loved an episode this much since a long time. Both of them were an absolute treat to watch I esp. found one scene beyond adorable...the flashback scene where they come rolling down and extend their hands for each other to hold. It was very meaningful scene too. In spite of being injured and unable to get up they wanted to be around each other...wanted to ensure that the other was alright. Their love and concern for each other even in such a state was more evident than ever. And of course it may also mean that they will keep on supporting each other through thick and thin and their relationship may survive all the hurdles.

thanks Sam.
NA has a long way to go, but i think he realized the importance of his family because of this crisis. he was almost clinging to every member of his family, even kavya. he might have wanted to use aditi's extreme interest in shlok in his favor when deciding to send her along on the honeymoon. he might have thought that aditi would either make aastha consummate the marriage due to jealousy or shlok might lose interest in aastha if he gets attracted to aditi. aditi didn't serve her purpose, so he is ignoring her now. he might not make arrogant plans like this again, which might endanger his son's life but he might still want to distance shlok from aastha by causing misunderstandings between them.

yes, the flashback scene was really beautiful and meaningful. like your interpretations.
