"This is my fiance and my future wife, Taani." He announced. Taani watched as the old man's eyes stopped on her. His eyes were calculating. She could tell the way he was studying her. It wasn't in the cheap way. But, it wasn't acceptable to Taani also. Judging the person by his/her outer appearance. She observed the old man who didn't comment anything. He just sat their looking briefly at her and then, his gaze would turn to Rey. This happened repeatedly. Taani didn't know about Rey, but she knew one thing. This was awkward.

Finally, the old man sighted and shook his head. He stood up from his seat and looked at Rey with different eyes. "Come on Rey, sit." He said in his soft voice. Taani watched from her corner of her eyes, Rey grinned at old man and nodded. He gave a squeeze to her waist and she came out of her trance. Taani walked to the two chairs and took one to sit. Both men had eyes on her. Rey glanced at old man once and then took a sit next to Taani. The old man, his PA came and sit on the chair which was behind the table, opposite to Taani and Rey.

"This is my PA, Jatin." Rey informed Taani. Taani just nodded, didn't say anything. Rey turned to Jatin and nodded. "Look.. Jatin. I want to announce the engagement and marriage without wasting time. How early you can manage media?" Rey asked. Taani palm fisted in a fist, but she kept it on her lap. Jatin leaned back in his chair and looked at Taani, then turned to Rey.

"Well, it can happen today. You do announcement. Arrange a party, invite your all close friends and then make a appearance with HER." Jatin looked at Taani with a sharp gaze. What the hell she did wrong? Why the hell he is giving such stares as if she has trapped Rey in marriage?

Taani knew being PA of Rey, Jatin must know what game Rey is playing with her. Then, why he is acting as if Taani is the main cause of all this. Jatin turned to Rey and raised his eyebrow.

Rey looked at him and then nodded. "Fine. I will do announcement. You have to control and manage newspaper. Give them statements what they needed." Rey informed. Jatin nodded in acceptance. Rey turned to Taani, "Let's go. We have to meet my mother and your future mother-in-law." He informed her.

He could see, she instantly tensed in her sit. He knew, he was breaking her. He was forcing her to do those things which are against her ethics, will. She gulped and weakly nodded.

They left Jatin's office and came near his car. Taani slide in the car with hesitation. Rey started the engine and started driving. So many things were running through her mind. Slowly, she is coming to near to reality. In everyone's eyes, she will be blamed. As an actor, Rey has a great image in public. Comparatively she is nothing in front of him. So, the all accusions will be directed to her. Lying to his mother, lying to whole media. Taani rubbed her forehead. She never imagined her life would be this difficult.

She took a deep breath as her eyes got moist. She quickly looked out, she didn't want him to see in her weak condition that would give him satisfaction. And, she is not going to give him. She pressed her side of the head on the glass of the window and turned her back to him. A lone tear escaped from her eyelid. She bite her lips to control the sob. She closed her eyes, and focused on her breathing. She can't be like this. Her parent had always wanted her to be strong, independent. She will stay long for her mom and dad. At least for their pride, she won't shade a tear on how her life has taken complete 360 degree. She gulped and quickly wiped her tears.

"We are here." Rey said.

Her head snapped in his direction. She nodded and unclamped her sitbelt, she was about slide out. Rey held her wrist making her stop. She turned back.

" Don't say anything without my permission. I am going handle it. Don't talk anything." He warned her. His fingers were digging in her skin. She nodded quickly. He studied her for a moment and then left her wrist. Taani slide out from the car while rubbing her wrist. Rey came near to her and put his hand around her waist.

She looked up at him. He was already looking down at her. Their eyes met.

She couldn't tore her eyes from his. A soft flow of wind played around them, the wind howled through her hair, kissing her skin, making her shiver. Rey watched as air played with her hair. The air lifted her hair from her neck, exposing her all facial features which always get hidden due to her hair kept falling on her face.

Taani shivered as his intense stare was studying her. Her lips on it's own accord parted slightly. Rey's eyes flickered down to her lips. Taani's heart thudded on her ribcage as she watched his eyes stopped on her lips. Another soft wind played around them. Her lips trembled slightly. Rey's breath hitched. His body was on fire.

His eyes flickered to her face and he shook his head. Anger boiled in him. How can he get distracted by a woman? He wasn't going to get fooled by a woman, again. He pulled her closer to him with a force, her side collided on his solid chest. Taani came out of her trance, she gasped as she watched her eyes burned with fury.

"We shall go." He hissed. Taani nodded quickly. He roughly started dragging her with him. Though she was in his arms, he wasn't giving a her a chance to adjust his pace.

Taani gasped as she looked with eyes in front of her. It wasn't the bunglow, it was a palace. Yes, it was. Every pillar had a royal design on it. The two large main doors were having beautiful designs fitted perfectly in every inch of the wood. Rey watched a surprised face of Taani. She didn't cast a stare to cars which were parked around the palace. Every car was a fortune. He expected her to see around the cars, the interior design of living room.

But, she was busy in examining the pillars and some old designs. Rey himself liked those designs. When he bought Kria for the first time, she was excited as she watched each every piece of furniture. She was completely checking every new device, electronics. But, Taani hadn't even see it.

He gave a squeeze to her waist. Taani averted her eyes from design and looked up at him. He wasn't looking at her. He can't risk that. Without any warning, he started walking, dragging her with him. Soon, Rey and Taani entered into pooja ghar where Rey's mom was instructing the servent to get some fresh flowers.

"Maa.." Rey called. Gayatri stopped her conversation immediately and dismissed the servent. She turned and smiled widely at her son. But, as soon as her gaze fall on a young lady her smile altered. But, she politely smiled at the lady in his arms.

Taani looked at the old woman standing in front of her. According to tabloids, her name was Gayatri Singhania. She was just simple. She was dressed in a very fashionable saree, but the way she carried herself anyone can point out that Gaytari has no pride having so much money. She was a simple, down to earth woman.

Gayatri lifted her eyes from Taani to Rey and questioned her. "Reeyansh, yeh kaun hain?" She kept the polite smile on her face.

"This is.?" He looked down at Taani and then looked up at his mom. "This is my fiance and my future wife and your future, daughter-in-law, Miss. Taani Manchanda." He declared.

Gayatri gasped as she took in the information. She looked at her son with wide eyes and then turned to Taani. She wasn't showing anything on her face. She was looking down.

Gayatri shook her head. "Taani Manachada.." She murmured to herself. Her eyes got more wide and her hand flew to her mouth as she gasped. "Rey, yeh.. Raj..kii..-" But, she couldn't complete her sentence as she was unable to speak. She was still processing. Gayatri shook her head.

"Reeyansh, yeh kya behuda majak laga rakha hain?" She asked with determination, he had already ruined his life by spending time with Kria. That girl wasn't worth it. Gayatri had no idea what is this. But, she know one thing very clearly that whatever it seems, it's not at all good.

Rey sighted and shook his head slightly. "Ma.. I don't want the discussion." He declared. Gayatri was about to open her mouth again. But, Rey looked at her and shook his head, "Don't." He warned.

"There is a party tonight. You know, announcement." He titled his head towards Taani. "Make sure, she is ready for the party." He said to her mother for the last time and removed his arm from Taani. He jogged up to his room and slammed the door loudly. The noise echoed throughout the palace.

Taani flinched as he slammed the door. Gayatri was still staring at her. Taani didn't dare to move a single muscle of her body. From the corner of her eye, she caught the curious glances from the group of worker who was may be listening to the conversation.

"Tummm... Raj..ki..behen.. hon??" Gayatri asked, while struggling to form a question. Taani gulped and nodded. Gayatri didn't ask anything. She kept staring at Taani helplessly.

Taani sighed as she stepped in warm water which was already filled in tub. She threw her head back and closed her eyes. The warm bubble water massaged her body, freshening the skin. Gaytari didn't ask anything. Nor she let any expression take over her features. She led Taani to the room and arranged everything. She called servent and allotted them works and left the room. She knew, Gayatri wanted to ask her, but she was restraining herself from it.

Taani spent some more time in tub, trying best to relax her nerves. She stepped out of the tub and wrapped the towel around her body and came out of the room. The servent had already left the room. Her black dress was already led on the bed. Her make-up kit, everything.

She sighted and sat on the chair in front of dressing table and looked at her reflection. She took a moment to compose herself and stood up from her chair and walked towards bed. She removed her towel and let the dress slide on her body.

Taani's dress:She stopped in front of mirror and watched as her curve were in show. She put the cream belt around her waist. She had naturally gained soft curls. She put those earring. She took the rose perfumed bottle of Victoria secret and sprinkled on her.

"Wow..so called independent young spirit become a toy of Reeyansh Singhania. Not bad!" A voice echoes in the entire room.

Taani gripped the bottle in her hand tightly. She knew the voice very well. How can she forget it. Taani turned and glared at the woman standing at her doorpost, smirking at her.

"Kia." Taani hissed. She quickly placed her bottle on dressing table, before she used it to throw at that irritating woman. Kia's smirk grew wider. She walked in the room. Taani watched her every step. Kia stopped in front of Taani.

"What are you doing here?" Taani blurted. She can't stand this woman anymore. She almost snatched everything from her. Her Bhai, her life, her everything.

Taani glared at Kia.

A vehicle stopped with a jerk in front of the Singhania's Residency. The doors of the the car opened in hurry and in no time slammed back also. Gayatri was already aware of it. She just pointed towards the room of Rey and sighted.

Rey turned as his door slammed open. He raised his eyebrow in shock as he watched his best-friends, Sharon and Swayam standing there, well.. fuming and panting. Before he could speak, Swayam barged in and grabbed the collar of Rey and punched him in stomach.

"Dude.. W*F!" Rey exclaimed in pain. He removed the grip of Swayam from and pushed him back. Then, he looked at Sharon was giving him a glare of death threat. If looks could kill, he would have died.

"Dude.. You say, what the f**k is going on? An announcement? Of what? Engagement?? With some, Taani..What the hell happened? Where is Kia?" Swayam barked on Rey. Sharon quickly came at his side and put his hand on Swayam's shoulder.

"I will explain. But, right now.. I have some important issue to handle." Rey informed. Swayam eyes blazed with fury as his best friend didn't react on this like nothing.

"You have so much to explain, Rey." Swayam hissed. Rey nodded. "Just go with the night guys." Rey murmured as he walked out of his room.

Swayam rubbed his forehead frustratingly and looked at Sharon helplessly. Sharon just shrugged.

Rey jogged down and stopped in mid-track as he watched his mother pacing the room, impatiently.

"Mom.. You shouldn't have told them." He grumbled. Gayatri just shook his head at him.

"Rey.. Waise bhi they were invited." Gayatri looked at his son. No doubt he was her son. She was a loving mother to him, but she wasn't the weak one. She can handle her son very well.

"Well, your special guest has arrived. But, not the important one. She is in Taani's room." Gayatri informed him. Rey nodded and marched towards Taani's room.

He entered the room but stopped in his track. Taani was glaring at Kia who was standing mere inches from her. He palm fisted tightly. He cleared his throat. Both ladies turned their head at him.

Kia stepped back quickly. But, he could see the fury in Taani's eyes.

"How you come in here?" Rey asked. His voice was hard and cold.

Kia just shrugged. "Well, every servant knows me. So, you know." She said as she flipped her hair back. Taani wanted to strangle the woman in front of her. How could dare she to utter a word after all happened.

"Well, you are not allowed to enter in any of the room of the palace. Since, you are invited with Raj.. Raj Manachanda. You have to come with him and enter with him in the palace. You may please leave the palace right now. Otherwise, I can throw you out. That would be really pleasurable sight." He warned her.

Kia gulped and glared at Rey. "I want to talk to Taani. Since, she is Raj's sister." Kia argued. Rey smirked.

"Kia.. I can kick you also. It's your choice. And besides, you can talk to her in party not now, I want to have some privacy with my fiance." Rey hissed.

Kia laughed as she heard the last part. Privacy' She shook her head and walked towards Rey and smirked.

"How much you tried you can't hide that you got hurt by me. Poor you." Kia smirked and left the room. Rey was fuming with anger. He can't believe, that was the woman he loved. How much he cared for her? Every minute of his life was dedicated to her. Is he that selfish? Is he not worth for anything? For the first time, Rey Singhania was hurt. He actually loved Kia with all his heart. He dreamed of their future together. He had almost believed that she was the woman of his life, love. NO.

That was very wrong assumption. Nothing wasn't in his faith. He didn't like to be get hurt. No, he don't like to feel like a loser. He hate that. His dad always called him, A LOSER. No, he is not a loser.Rey faded those thoughts and looked at Taani who was looking down at ground, in a deep thinking. She was glaring at the spot where Kia was standing. He didn't know, should she disturb her or not. But, then he disposed that thought. He is not going to care.

Rey cleared his throat and started walking towards Taani. Taani blinked and looked up, her face and mind was completely blank. Rey stopped in front of her. His eyes roamed on her. The dress fitted her perfectly, showing her all curves which can drawn attention of men towards her. Her face wasn't coated with overload of make-up. It was just light make-up.

Taani looked at Rey who examined her, suddenly she felt too much exposed. She felt like he was peeking through her soul. Finally, his eyes settled on her face. She couldn't read his face.

"Listen. There will be media, my many friends from industry. The story about meeting me and you has already published. So, don't utter a word. Keep up with me. You are not going to wander anywhere without me." Rey said, in a very cold voice.

In other time, Taani would have barked at him that she is not slave of him. She is a human and she will not be going to listen like a donkey. But, right now, she just nodded. Actually, just a mere nod. Rey nodded in return.

"I see, you are ready. Let's go out then." He said as he put his arm around her waist casually. This time he didn't dragged her. He let her adjust his pace. Rey didn't know what happened, but his blood rushed through his veins speedily as soon as her soft, tiny body came in contact with her. It was very strange. This was a simple gesture. He had done this a million time with different women. He never felt anything like this with those women. Not even with Kia. But, with Taani. It felt completely different.

He quickly shrugged those thoughts as they made their entry in the main backyard where the media was going to throw questions on him. He looked at Taani who had a blank expression. He leaned and whispered in her ear, " Put a smile on your face."Taani lifted her head and processed the word. She smiled and looked around, all eyes were on her. The reporters were flashing cameras on her.

Rey pulled a chair for Taani like a gentleman and helped her to sit. He slide on the chair next to her. Reporters started questioning them.

'Are you both are real couple?'

Rey shook his head and laughed lightly. Taani tried to find the reporter who asked such question, but due to bright beams of light was showering over them, she couldn't see the person.

"Well, yes we are serious. Otherwise, I wouldn't be sitting here with her." He turned to Taani and threaded their fingers. Taani looked at him and he smiled at her. She returned the smile.

'Is she pregnant?'

Rey shook his head and gave permission for next question. The series of question goes on. Finally, Rey lifted his palm and stood up. Taani also stood up.

'Please sir, one last question. When we will be able to cover up your engagement?'

Rey laughed slightly and put a hand around Taani's shoulder and pulled her closer."Engagement will be in two or four days." He looked down at Taani and smiled, and placed a kiss in her hair. " Now, please. Excuse us. The party is for us also." Rey dismissed and started walking with Taani off the stage.

Swayam was watching every movement of Rey and the girl named, Taani. He knew, something was surely off. Taani Manchanda.' The sister of Raj Manachanda. Swayam's eyes widen at the realization. Raj never mentioned that he had a sister. He looked at Rey who was shaking hand with a producer and introducing Taani. He studied Taani's face, she was just doing like a robot. Swayam took a sip of his drink, let his brain and nerves take some cold liquid in his mind to work it.

"We have to talk." Sharon whispered. Swayam nodded, without breaking his eyes from the couple.

Rey was talking to some wife of a director , he heard as crowd surrounded at a certain place. He turned. His arm painfully tightened around Taani's waist. Taani winced in pain but quickly hide it by putting a fake smile and joining into some random conversation.

Raj and Kia had entered the party. Raj's hand was around her waist and Kia was happily smiling with him. That made, Rey's blood boil. They both ruined his life, but he is not going to give up. He turned to Taani who engaging into a conversation.

"Taani, we should meet your brother." He whispered in her ear, 'brother' Taani sensed hate in that word. She silently nodded and both excused themselves from the group.

Media was asking question to Raj about the girl in his arms. Rey walked towards the couple and greeted with Taani. Raj's eyes fell on Taani. She wasn't looking at him in his eyes. He looked at the couple blankly. When he himself got the news, he was shocked. He knew, Rey was taking a revenge on him. He forced a smile on his face and hugged Rey and Taani.

Rey knew, for the world, Raj has no sister. He is the only child. Rey wanted to rip the news in front of media. But, for some reason, he decided to not to. Kia-Raj and Taani-Rey walked in some aloof corner in the house.

As soon as, Raj entered away from media. He grabbed Taani's arm, "What the hell is going on?" He hissed.

Rey just looked amused by the interaction. He chuckled and grabbed Raj's hand removed from Taani's arm.

"Mr. Manchanda. She is my fiance. Without my permission, you can't touch her." He said as his eyes met Raj's.

"Look, Baat tere mere bich ki hain. Tu, Taani ko kyu bich me laa raha hain??" Raj hissed. Kia just eyed Taani.

Rey gave him a hard glare. He put an arm around Taani's waist. " Taani is your sister. I think, this is enough reason why I am getting her." Rey smiled.

"Please, enjoy the party." He said, as he turned with Taani and started walking. Taani glanced back, over Rey's shoulder. Raj was rubbing his face frustratingly, Kia was trying to hug him. She quickly looked ahead.

Taani felt him leaned and he kissed her cheek. She jumped and looked at him. Then, she looked around. They were again in party. Rey pulled her towards him, put his arms around her and grazed his knuckle on her cheek. From the corner of her eye, she watched as reporters were capturing their moment. She wanted to free herself from his arm. But, she looked up and smiled at him.

He smiled back and quickly leaned down. The gestures were fake. His smile was plastered on his lips. His eyes weren't active.

She froze when she felt his lips on hers. Her breath stopped, his eyes met hers. They were empty. But, the contact between their lips were sending tingling sensation. They weren't kissing. Rey just had pressed his lips to her lightly. Cameras were turned to them. Every pair of eyes were on him.

His minty mixed with wine breath was mixing with her. Rey leaned back and broke the contact between their lips. He smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead.

The realization hit her hard, she was kissed without her permission in the entire, Indian media. She just looked blankly around her. People were coming to them congratulating them. But, only Rey was the one who was uttering the words. She was going to be remained blank throughout the night.

Around 12:30 pm. Everyone started leaving. Rey squeezed her waist and turned, Taani turned with him also and they walked inside the palace. She was just forcing her feet to walk with Rey. She wasn't looking at the direction. Her vision started to get blurry, her eyes were watery. She blinked as some heave tears escaped from her eyes.

Rey knew, she was crying. He looked up and stopped in his tracks. Sharon and Swayam were in the living room. Swayam had a hard expression on his face. He looked at Rey with his arm folded then at Taani, again his eyes flickered on him.

"I guess. You have a explanation, Right?" Sharon said. She looked at Taani, her eyes lingered on her. Taani blinked and controlled her tears. She quickly wiped her tears. She eyed Sharon and Swayam, then the person sitting on sofa. Gayatri.

"Sit. Explain." Swayam said with more hard voice. Taani felt Rey sighted and nodded. He walked with her towards sofa and settled. Everyone had eyes on them. Specially on her. She created the space between her and Rey. Rey glanced at her for a brief moment then looked at Sharon and Swayam and opened his mouth...

Her hand flew to his cheek and she slapped him hard. His eyes got widen from the shock. Taani gasped as she realized what she did.

Rey banged his hand on wall. He was fuming with anger. His deep brown eyes reflecting anger which was giving him more power to burn his heart. His eyes were all red. He was breathing very heavily and rapidly. The girl who was standing alone in front of him, was trying hard to not to show her scare on her face, to not to let escape a tear from her eye.

He marched towards her like a roaring lion. Her body was frozen. Her brain was not working. She started shivering. He came closer to her and held very tightly by pressing her arms in his rough men hands. She moaned in pain.
