may be if he accidently come to know...usse thoda bura lagega ...especially because of this promise ...kyonki actually woh nibhayega...but she dint actually break it completely...usne reason toh sahi hi bataya hain...bas mom ka naam nahi lia...idea toh yeh hi tha ki zain ne uske liye itna kuch kiya toh woh bhi kare...

and i feel zain hamein kitna hi immature lagta ho...but he is smart guy aur woh jaanta hain ki uski biwi kitni emotional hain...so he will just know the reason behind hiding i feel ...
i love zain for being so realistic in this sense...usse pata hota apne aas paas ka...see aaliya even dint told zain the name...still when his dad called...he guessed everything ...😊

I'm not saying that what Aaliya did was right or anything, but I believe that she didn't say anything to Zain regarding his mother is because she doesn't want to sound like she's talking bad about his mother. I'm sure she doesn't want to offend Zain, hence her silence. I think she's oblivious to the fact that Zain knows how his mother is, which is why she didn't want to say anything about his mother. She's scare that he might side with his mother because he's a mama boy, but we all know he is going to support Aaliya and I'm sure she knows that too. She's just insecure at the moment about her relationship with Zain. Well, this is just how I perceive it. I'm not one to blame a person for the things they say or hide, but I'm sure the CV's have their reasons as to why she didn't expose his mother to him. At least we all know that Zain knows how his mother is like.

I mean, I would have liked it if she told Zain the truth, but whatever. I'll try to live with it. Haha.

it was a bit of both...suraiya's words triggered the thought and zain's joke was like the final nail in the coffin... yeh they r.. but some may be exceptions like me..who love zain more than they love aliya. I class myself as a zain fan more than an aliya fan😆😆

Her character is contradicting.. She makes promises and right away breaks them😆 . Not the first time that i am seeing inconsistencies in her characterization, but woh tho allah ki bandi hai, sab chaltha hai😆

@bold: me too😳. though i love them together but i like zain's characterization more.. He has flaws and isnt shown to be hypocritical or contradicting.. Its real..

She does lie, hide but that gets rushed under the carpet, i have my issues their..

But even if she told Zain abt Suraiya wat difference that wud make...And Zain is now aware that his Mom is against Aaliya nd family...But i m happy that without taking Suri's name Aaliya told everything...So i think she dint hide..or break any promise..

P.S :- Is it so ?? Then i hv no probs at all as i m in both classes... 😉 😉

I understand some of the viewpoints here, that Aaliya cannot take the risk of being blunt to Zain, about Suriyya yet. That's contextual. But, that's also besides the point.

What mattered here is, for whatever reasons, she just contradicted herself & broke a "promise", she persuaded Zain to make to her, as well.

My concern is not with Aaliya keeping mum, it is with the CVs making her say & do stuff, which immediately contradicts the need of the character & the hour.

She broke her promise with Zain once, before their Nikaah & broke his trust. She broke another promise today. (a small, maybe insignificant one too). Although both of them were broken with maybe the right intentions, but either way, she doesn't come across as someone who's firm with words, like Zain mostly is or atleast tries to be. So the CVs should be a bit more careful about these things.
