And yup, when Zain asked her about Suraiya, it kept ringing in my head, is she gonna lie? She omitted. Omission is also part of breaking what she promised him, but lets see how that goes on from now. But even when Suraiya asks Aliya about the calendar, she only said "Mere jaane ki dhin gin raha tha", not the one month challenge. She omitted it. I guess if asked directly or if he pushed her to know it at any cost, she would have told him? We'll never know.

I dunno knowing aliya she wouldn't... becos it risks causing problem between zain and suraiya and she's not the 1 to do tht...she's a bit like shabana in the sense tht she knows her mami dislikes her but refuses 2 inform usman or zain abt it, similarly shabana knows tht suraiya doesn't like her yet never complains abt it 2 her brother and jus lets the matter go.

yeh I loved tht entire scene...zaya scene r always amazing, but lately zain's dialogue n character has jus grown so much... compare today's zain to the zain we saw at the beginning - there has been so much growth... and development... I hope they do the same with Aaliya... I feel aliya's growth is very restricted compared to zain's character growth.

I guess, unlike breaking a promise that she will break the marriage, this hiding about Suraiya was done so that Mother and Son do not have problems. Also what would she get by telling him about Suraiya? They have only promised to "Start" to trust each other. She is not even sure how he will react, if he will even believe her? Her insecurity. Trust is always earned. This promise was about giving a shot at that. To give each other the chance to earn one another's trust.

I don't know what type of growth can be brought in Aliya's character at this point of the story. She has been acceptable to this marriage from day 1. Where as Zain was not a lot of things, which he is right now. I understand why we want her character to have a growth, but what I wonder is, with the present track moving on the path of a truce between them, how will Aliya have to change from what she was? What is the growth we are expecting in her role? Should she be spunky? She already is. Should she be jealous? She already was. She has been only making mistakes for the past few days, but if she dint make them, they would not be able to give a character growth for Zain right? If she handled Aayat's case perfectly with no drama from her side, we would never have seen Zain's mature, supportive side?

I think, Aliya's turn will come, once their romance starts. She has this problem of nervousness, when he gets closer to her. May be later, they will explore and make her a little bolder? Who knows!

haha bold aliya... I can't imagine tht...there was a topic abt how it would be if aliya starts to flirt...but I guess like u said, tht might happen when they have fallen in love. as of now I just cant imagine aliya flirting or being bold... but it will be interesting 2 c changes in her character.

I guess u have a point, but I also think tht zain would have believed her becos he does know how his mom is and how she doesn't hesitate in making aliya n her family feel bad for the forced marriage... I mean zain was disappointed in suraiya when he found out tht she told shabana abt the walima divorce track. here's hoping she does build a level of trust and is able to confide in him in the future but even then a part of me believes she wont disclose every truth relating 2 suraiya for the reason u mentioned above...the risk of it damaging a mother n son's relationship. aliya is very considerate when it comes to relationships, she isn't the 1 to break them or be the reason for a rift between them.

First of all a big thank you for writing this post emphasizing on the turning point of Zaya relationship. Entertainment in the later part of the episode is overshadowing this part at the moment.

Zain expressed so much today and it is surely a great progress. He has come a long way with mkb from the walima episode. From saying free me from this bondage to lets complete the story together. Wow. I guess its life only which gives you the opportunity to grow like this and change being the ultimate factor in it. He spoke from his heart and he wants happily ever after by defeating Aaliya. But how will she loose? May be by loosing herself in the love of her idiot only. I loved the part where he said yes we can do kitkit, we can try to outshine each other, we can fight all the time, but can we try to escape each other, nope we cant. What an ultimate truth about human relations. When you are bound by destiny, by choice, by disagreement, by approval, the biggest truth is you are now associated with each other and all the consequences will have to be faced by you only. Leaving only means physical absence but memories do remain.there is always remnant part of every thing happening in life. So ek dusre se bhagna bada mushkil hai.

Aaliya asking for a promise and Zain agreeing to it was beautiful. Now it will focus on biggest binding force in a marital relation ie trust. Its like glue which helps to fix two individuals. But why do I feel this time promise will be broken and that too by Zain. It will be like drawing parallel to Aaliya breaking the promise on marriage. Her breaking promise brought them together by destiny, what will happen this time?Will Zain try to justfy his deed in future regerring to Aaliya only? Lets wait and watch. Hope nothing like this happens.

The makets are brilliantly portraying the steps in their growing relatioship. Hmm, what comes next after learning to trust each other- is it complete emotional dependence on each other and being secure in relationship? Lets see what happens with Zain and Aaliya.
