Today was an important lunch with one of my client. Since I run non-profitable organization it is very important for my company to rely on sponsors. I had received a call to have a lunch with a sponsor that will help market my company worldwide. Right now with the things happening at home because of that guy Maan this lunch and keeping myself busy might be the thing I need right now. This time I made sure Animaah is safe but I will never know for sure until I see her at the end of the day. This Maan seems to be capable of anything and I will prove to Ajay that I am not hullicinating. I know for sure he was in my house but how did he escape beats me but I will find a way on my own.
He sees her gently sipping her white wine while waiting for her client to speak with her. He looks at her lips as they gently touch the glass while she is lost in her thoughts looking spaced out. He knew what she much be thinking of him. About their night if he was there or not. He was keeping a watch on her, he knew she isn't afraid to handle him which made him want to hurt her more, to break her more until he is satifisfied but one thing that keeps nagging him from deep within his heart...her scars. Who gave her those scars? They were old but felt so new when he had touched them. He wondered if the taser gave her a another scar to her collection.
Geet looks at her time, it was 1pm now its been an hour since she has been here waiting for this client of hers. Another 10 minutes she was going to wait before leaving for home. Geet singaled for the waiter to bring her check when she saw a scrawny guy with glasses walking up to her table. He fixes his glasses as he takes a seat opposite of hers.
"hello Ms. Geet..I am Aditiya Sharma. Sorry for the delay. I didn't know how to get around here."
"I have waited an hour for you Mr. Sharma. You might be my new client but I hate people that make me wait. Thank you anyway for showing up. Nice meeting you" (The waiter brings her the check...Geet gives it to Aditiya) "Am sure a rich client such as yourself won't mind paying for my lunch. Good day" (She leaves the resturant leaving amusing Maan and conufsed Aditiya behind. As soon as she is out the door, he walks over to Adi who was still trying to figure out what to do.)
"hmm I didn't expect that reaction from her sir" (Maan waives his hand to shut him up as he enjoys the breadsticks on the table)
"I knew she would react that way that is why I asked you to come in late. I want you to go to her company with the market plan and strategies we came up with for her. Speak only of what we talked about. She will agree"
"But...based on how she talked to me I know she won't see me."
"Ohh yes she will...trust me on that...now go right now and get there before she does."
Geet reaches her office mad at the client for wasting her time. She had other things to worry about rather than one client who made her wait for over an hour. Her assistant gulped in fear as she was signaled to come to her office.
"Uhh ma'am you have someone waiting for you. He said that he would only speak with you."
"hmm send him in also give me list of today's agenda."
"Sure ma'am."
Her assistant left as Geet kept her head burried in paperworks. Her company offers help to women that are trapped in a relationship or have no support was slowly growing. She had a special hotline number and a very dedicated and professional staff to help those women in anyway they can. Geet hoped that one day her company goes international and help as many people as she can but for now she herself needed help. Geet heard a knock on her door and without looking up she signals the person to come in.
"Ms. Handa I want to apologize again for my delay." (Geet looks up hearing a familiar voice. She sees the same client from the restuarant.)
"Please leave...I know that my company relies on clients such as yourself but I have no intention of joining hands with people that cannot be punctual. So please if you can leave"
"Sure, I will leave but please don't dismiss this chance. My company is very intersted in helping companies such as yourself. We are from India and we needed to find someone that can help open a similar establishment in India. We need someone to encourage women to seek help and not to be afraid. We did our research and your company is at the top right now. While helping us you will help your company grow as well. Here are the details of what we do, the presenation of marketing startegy on how to expand your company. Please don't worry about the funds, my company will take care of anything and everything of all the expanses with this project. Good day. Will look forward to hear from you"
Geet looks at the file after the guy left, it would indeed be s a stepping stone she needs in her career right now. Dealing with this compnay will allow her to expand to India which had been on her mind for a while now. Geet calls her personal secertary in and hands her the file.
"Do reserach on this company, call or email whoever you need to in order to obtain a full detailed report. I need details by the end of the day today"
"Yes, Ma'am"
Adi leaves her company and calls up Maan.
"Sir it is done. I think she might consider us."
"Hmm she will do some reasearch on our fake company. Did you take care of that as well?"
"Yes, I did. I got the best IT guy working on a fake website as well as fake articles. He will be posting that as we speak."
"hmm good..."
Maan hangs up the phone with a smile. Time to bring you to my hometown Geet where no one will be able to help you from me. Pretty soon you will be trapped in my web where the only escape will be to listen to me and obey whatever I say.
Geet quickly finishes up her work to leave early. She needed to see her daughter and spend some time with her. She needed to get home before her so called enemy arrives. She knew he would.
"ma'am before you go here is the research for the company I did. I have a print out available for you to review." (Geet sits back down...this client if he is good at what he does then she will have to agree to his propsoal. This might be the door she needed to expand.)
"hmm thanks! You can leave early if you want. I will review the file."
"Okay ma'am thanks I will leave in a few after I wrap up the day"
Geet looks at the file for the remainder of the day, doing her own research and reading everything in details making sure this company is what she actually needed. After satisfied with her decision, she calls up the client.
"Hello..Mr. Sharma I will be more then happy to join you guys in this project."
"Excelent...we will meet soon to go over details in person"
"hmm speak to you later"
Maan smiles as Adi hangs up the phone giving him thumbs up. Bingo...she just made a deal with the devil...she has no idea what she got herself into.
