Razia-Gaffur: Well Razia puts up an act about accepting her sins, and then encourages Gaffur to go tell Zoya that he's her father. Gaffur gets all excited about it, and then Razia says oh but not now darling, Zoya is busy with Rashid. And Gaffur actually falls for her rubbish, asking for her advice and stuff zz. Gaffur, I thought you were smarter than this.
Razia-Tanveer: Tanveer plays Razia out and Razia falls for her rubbish quite easily, just as her husband fell for hers. Now I understand why Razia and Gaffur got married in the first place. They're more similar than I thought!
Gaffur-Zoya: Bunch of emotional monologues, mostly by Gaffur, left me... bored. MEET ALREADY. HUG IT OUT. But I liked the background music at the dargah (:
Qureshis: Tried to get some lawyer to transfer all of Nikhat's stuff to their name, but Badi Bi and Nikhat were one step ahead, messing with the papers beforehand by drenching it with what looked like blood (but was red ink), and the lawyer left. Pretty smart I must say haha, I appreciate!
Asad-Zoya: Asad leaves Zoya in charge of Rashid, and well, we all know she's gonna put the phone call from her own abbu above her husband's abbu pretty easily. Setting up of a misunderstanding I see! Don't see how this'll fit with the way things are going...
Precap: ZOYA MEETS ABBU FINALLYYY.
Well, I guess the episode was mostly a build up for Zoya's meeting with her father tomorrow, and yeah that's about it.
About the leap:
I don't know what to make of the leap. It sounds like a hasty decision, and I don't think hasty decisions ever bode well. A short leap sounds okay, to show AsYa as parents (as long as they don't remain separated through those years, that's just sad), but this generation leap... I have my doubts haha. Guess at the end of the day it depends on who the guy she gets paired up with is. I personally hope it's Karan Tacker haha he's so dreamy :p
If they do go ahead with the generation leap, I have a strong feeling they'll show Zoya Jr fall in love with the new guy (who's a perfectly pleasant person), and then later find out that the guy is Tanveer's kid (Yes, I believe Tanveer will finally give birth to the child she's been hiding in her womb for donkey years), and then she'll find out that Tanveer is the woman who killed her parents, and then AW complications!!
I still think that ending the show with AsYa living happily ever after is a better option. It's kinda morbid to kill AsYa off after all they've been through, and show evil triumph anyway. Oh well, at the end of the day I guess whatever works for the TRP audience is what we'll end up getting. More power to them.
