Maybe I am the only one but I think this could possibly turn out good...Mahabharat has so much potential for the big screen and UTV has the resources to make it big and good too.

Count me in for that as well... provided they do justice to characters and story... it does have potential...and about newer generation been not interested...Well i think if they can be interested in Grant Morrison's 18 Days animated mini series on Mahabharat...I am sure they will show interest in own desi full fledged movie too on epic itself...

Ashok Banker has written an extended version of Ramayana, which flows very herocially and smoothly.

Maybe one could consider re-making Ramayana or making a modern version of banker's Ramayana. If made well, it would be a great cinematic adaptation.
