Episode:1

Sharon & Swayam's confrontation in the Media roon is accidently broadcasted across the college. Just in time Rey comes and switches of the microphone and pulls swayam & Sharon out of there. D3 gang asks Swayam about what they heard and he tells them that he and Sharon are a couple. In the heat of the moment, flabbergasted Sharon denies and says she and swayam were never and can never be a couple.

Swayam is shocked beyond words, so are Rey and Simmi. He looks into Sharon's eyes which she is clearly avoiding. Without waiting for another second, Swayam walks away from the group. He goes and takes the corner most seat in the caf when random girls and boys ask him about him and Sharon. Too many things happening at the same time for his mind to register. Sharon's denial is echoing in his head, he can hear Nil and Vicki asking him not to stalk Sharon like this, random comments in the corridor and caf.

Rey walks to Swayam in the caf looking upset)

Rey: Swayam, tu thik toh hai na? Swayam are you listening to me..Swayam dekh baat karte hai, sab thik ho jayega.

Swayam: Kya thik ho jayega Rey! Did you not hear what Sharon said, jab kuch hai nahi toh thik kya hoga. Pls yaar rey, tu abhi ja yahan se.

(Simmi is pulling Sharon and walking towards Rey & Swayam. Sharon still in shock)

Simmi: Sharon sit down. You guys need to talk before things become worse.

(Sharon looks at swayam. She is as hurt as him but she does not know what to say or do. Seeing Sharon and Swayam at the same table, whole caf is looking at them, eager to know what is happening. Sharon is visbly uncomfortable.. with everybody around them and simmi & rey's accusing looks)

Rey: Sharon?? Are you going to say something? Chal kya raha hai yeh guys?

Swayam without lifting his eyes up: Sharon ne bata toh diya, aur kya janana hai.

Sharon: Swayam woh main...woh..

Simmi: Sharon..yeh lo Nil and Viki bhi aa gaye.

Nil: kya chal raha hai guys, poore college mein tum dono are the hot topic.

(He looks at Sharon's and Swayam's expressions) kuch hua hai?f Fir Koi baat hai?

Sharon (tensed seeing everyone around the table and in caf): What's wrong with you guys? Kuch nahi hua hai. Ek baar bol toh diya, ab kitni baar repeat karun. I am out of here guys!

Sharon walks off.

Viki: Swayam tu bhi na yaar. "No" ka matlab keep trying nahi hota yaar.. especially when she is uncomfortable.

Simmi, Nil and Viki run after Sharon.

Rey: Swayam, tu inki baton ko ignore kar. They dnt know kya scene hai. Tu jaanta hai Sharon ko, uski image ko leke uske obsession ko. Who ghabra gayi hogayi whenall this happened..swayam chal ghar chalet hai. Lets o. we will talk baad mein.

Swayam: No Rey. We don't have to talk about nothing. Pls mujhe akela chod de.

Swayam storms out of the caf and heads home. He walks into the home,throws his bag away and slams the door hard. Kaka had never seen him so upset ever. This was not typical of swayam. He was in control of himself and situations always but today something seemed off. Worried about him, kaka knocks on the door.

Swayam: kaka abhi nahi. Mujhe akela rehne deejiye.

Kaka: Beta kuch hua hai kya? Ek baar darwaza toh kholo.

Swayam: Kaka pls jaiyee. Mujhe aap se abhi koi baat nahi karni.

Kaka: Achcha mujhse na kare par kya Main Rey ya Sharon ko baby bula dun?

Swayam (opens the door): Kisiko kuch batane ke zarurat nahi hai. Main bahar jar aha hun. Late aaunga.

Outside, he tries to find his key for the cycle but in his fit of anger he might have thrown it somewhere. He decides to walk...

All the time he spent with sraon flashes back in his mind. A lone tear slips away. His love, his feelings, his care, his patience, nothing seemed to matter to Sharon when it came to her dazzler image. She made him look like a loser in front of college, in the eyes of their gang, in his own eyes to that matter.

He knew Sharon inside out. She came with her own baggage of insecurities. But he had loved her with all of them. He knew her diva act was a put up to cover up her vulnerable side and he never seemed to mind it. He felt his love may make her feel more secure. Why else would he agree to all the terms and conditions she put forward in their relationship. He was sure one day things will turn around.. probably on a day like this. But today he failed to understand her. His love for her made him insecure. He might have been able to forgive her for what she said outside the media room..they both were shocked and Sharon did not get time to react. And the fake diva in her took over the true Sharon. Agreed. But what about the things she said in canteen. She had as much time to think about all that happened, as him. Why did she deny..again? Swayam failed to understand what made Sharon so apprenhensive to accept him.

He did not know how far he had walked, it was dark. His legs were hurting so was his heart. he went and sat on bench. His mind restless.. his eyes expressionless. Swayam was hurt..may be hurt beyond repair. When he looks back at his and sharon's relationship, he realizes that it was a relationship which was based on her convenience. Trusting his love, for her, he agreed to all her conditions thinking that one day she will realize that love cannot be bound by limits and convenience, love by nature is unconditional. But today she failed him, his love failed him. May be Sharon was not what he thought she would be or may be she did not love him enough to let the world see through her, may be her insecurities were bigger than his love.

His mind was busy finding answers when he noticed someone looking over his shoulders. Snapping out of his thought trails, he sees a girl trying to look at his hands.

He looks at her, irritated, as though asking "What?" Girl taps on her wrist with eager eyes.

In no mood of riddles, swayam : "What??"

Girl: Oh so you can speak. (pause) I have been asking you for time kabse but you were toh not responding only isliye I was trying to look at your watch.(smiles)

Swayam (pissed off): Kya musibat hai. College mein dost, ghar pe kaka aur bus stop pe tum. Koi chain se do minute baithne kyun nahi deta. Pata nahi problem kya hai sabki.

Girl (irritated): Arey.. bas time hi toh poocha tha. Ajeeb log hai (she stands up) Abhi ke time ka toh pata nahi par mera time zaroor kharab raha hoga jo aap se time pooch liya.(she starts to walk away)

She turns back and says " Waise aapke dost aur ghar wale nahi hai aapke "bechaini" (stressing on the word) ka reason. Apne aap se sula (meaning - patch up) kar loge toh khud bhi kam pareshan rahoge and doosron ko bhi shanti hogi.

He stares at her blankly as she goes to the nearby tapri and asks the chai wala for time.

Swayam (to himself): i better go home before I encounter more such people. (gets up and thinks) ghar jaunga toh shayad Sharon aaye.

He curses himself for thinking that Sharon may come to his home to check on him. Sharon nahi ayegi..agar use mere itni fikar hoti toh aaj jo college mein hua, that would not have happened. In that fleeting moment, he hated Sharon.. for a milli- second.

Realizing that his pain is only making him angry on her, he decided it is best he went to Rey's place. Come what may have, but he would never want to think that Sharon is the reason for his pain. But over analyzing today's events only made him do so.

Next Update:

Swayam making coffee at Rey's house when Sharon comes to meet Rey. Sharon in all tears and repenting over what happened and hugging Rey, not knowing that swayam is inside listening to her.

LOVE IS...UNCONDITIONAL.

Swayam is upset over Sharon's behavior and is fighting with himself over what, why and how could Sharon deny their relationship in front of the D3 gang. Sad and upset, Swayam takes off for a lonely walk to think over it. He decides to go to Rey's place.

Ab Aage...

Swayam reaches Rey's house and decides to be as normal as possible. He did not want Rey to torn between two of his besties. Cold sigh, a look up in the sky and a rehearsed smile.. knock knock!

Rey: Swayam, tu yahan?

Swayam: kyun nahi aa sakta? (fake smile)

Rey: really bro?! (hugs swayam) chal come in... come in.. kuch lega chai coffee thanda?

Swayam: Coffee should do.

Rey: Kaka...ek cof...

Swayam: Chal main banaata hun. Tub hi kya yaad rakhega.

Swayam walks towards the kitchen. Rey is confused over Swayam's behavior, but he decides to play along.

Rey: Swayam, do you wanna talk? (pulling his eyebrows up) tu jaanta hai tu mujhe baat kar sakta hai.

Swayam: Haan Rey. Karunga bhi, par abhi coffee peete hai?

Rey: You know that both u & Sharon are my best friends but when it is between you two, i will always stand by what I think is correct. And this time without any hesitance I can say what Sharon did was wrong. She should not have said what she did.

Swayam: Chod na yaar. Sharon ne jo kiya wo uska POV... (boiling water for coffee). I don't think it is fair to judge her for that, but maine socha iske bare mein. Agar Sharon ne aisa kiya toh usko mauka maine hi diya na. Galti fir dono ki hui, right?

Rey: Swayam, mic turning on was accidental.. isme tera ya uska kya fault?

Swayam: Rey tu samjh nahi raha. You can connect the dots to reveal the final picture only by looking back. Maine abhut socha.. this is not the only time. Maine baar baar apne aap ko uss jagah rakha, apne feelings ko uss jagah rakha jahan Sharon ke actions se main affected hun. Yeh pehli baar nahi hai Rey... yeh hamesha se hua hai par uss waqt baatein itni choti thi ke kabhi ehsaas nahi hua. Iss baar takleef zyada huyi toh yeh realize kiya ke hum hamesha apne chahne walon ko priority nahi de sakte. Our heart and feelings are only resilient to an extent Rey.har choti badi baat ka impact hota hai, bas farak sirf yeh hai ke yeh jaanane mein humein waqt lag jaata hai.

Rey: Tu jaanta hai Sharon ko.. hum sab se zyada. She is little confused and little lost, par wo selfish nahi hai.

Swayam: Sahi kaha. Sharon selfish nahi hai. Bas kabhi kabhi who saamne wale ki feelings to understand nahi kar paati. Usne apne aap ko badla hai, main apne aap ko badla hai.. par shayad yeh kaafi nahi tha to make "OUR" relationship work. But now I fear, isse zyada agar woh badal gayi ya main badal gaya toh we will no longer be same people Rey.

Rey: Par love changes us for the best right? Change achche ke liye ho toh problem kya hai.

Swayam: Problem hai Rey. Wo pyaar kya jo humein itna badal de. I always thought ke Sharon ki di hui koi bhi takleef I can bear but today I realized, that's not true. May be I will forget this incident but kya guarantee yeh kal nahi hoga. I decided not to put myself in such vulnerable position again. Relationship ke liye sirf romance and Love to kaafi nahi.. you need to have Trust jo Sharon me mera aaj tod diya. .. Respect jo Sharon ne aaj poore college ke saamne..hamare apne friends ke samne she failed me.

(looking for sugar) Cheeni kahan hai? Kadwi coffee peen eke mood mein nahi hun, aaj toh definitely nahi. (Smiles)

Rey: Wo dekh baaju wale cabinet mein rahega. Swayam, tu bahut badala badala sa sound kar raha hai. I have never seen you talk like this.

Swayam: Dekh yaar Life mein saare dreams poore nahi hote. Aur jab pata chal jaye ke koi dream poora nahi ho sakta toh uska peecha nahi karna chahiye..Makes life easier and happier. (smiles) (after a long pause, he whispers) Maine apne aap se sulah kar li hai..(smiles as though he remembered something)

Rey: what the heck does that mean (rolling his eyes) tu devdas jaise chada ke toh nahi aaya.(resting his arms on Swayam's shoulder)

Swayam: you wish. Tu toh bol mat, senti hota hai toh super dancer ban jaata hai.(shrugs his arms off)

Rey and Swayam are laughing when there is a knock on the door.

Rey: Yeh kaun hai iss waqt? Tu coffee sambhal main dekh ke aaya.

Rey is surprised to see Sharon at the door. She was in a bad state, her eyes were red and swollen. One could see the last remaining traces of her kajal and mascara on her cheeks. She was literally shivering and sobbing. The moment she saw rey, she hugged him tight.

Sharon: Reyyy.. I am so sorry... I don't know mujhe kya hogaya tha. Achanak sab aake mujhe poochne lage toh main ghabra gayi.. Rey..(sobs)

Rey: Sharon, sambhalo apne aap ko. Sab thik ho jayega (long pause).. aisa main kehna chahta hun but I don't know sab thik hoga ya nahi.

Sharon (surpised): Rey, pls tum toh aisa mat bolo. You know me, mera intention nahi tha Swayam ko hurt karna..par..

Rey: Par kya Sharon.. intention sahi hone se baat sahi ho yeh zaroori toh nahi. Tumne jo kaha, did you even think uska kya asar ho sakta hai. You had a chance to redeem yourself but nahi! You cared more about your Dazzler image than Swayam. And that, Sharon, is a fact..whether you agree or not.

Sharon: I was tensed damn it. Sab kuch happened so fast that I did not understand what to say.

Rey: When you truly care about someone, you try to cover up for them in crisis. Tumhari case all you had to speak was truth.

Sharon: I know galti hogayi but I want to fix it. I do (sobs). Swayam is not answering my phone and I don't know wo kahan hai and kaisa hai.

Rey: Swayam is fine. Meri baat hui thi.

Sharon: kahan hai wo? (hysterically) Do you think I should meet him now? Nahi now is too late, main kal college mein baat karungi. Aur main sabko bata bhi dungi humare bare mein... I will tell them that swayam ne sach bola tha.

Rey: Sharon, he is fine. I think you should give him time. Aur please Sharon, I don't think it is good idea to go tell everyone. You should check with swayam on what he thinks about it. Har baar tumhari sirf marzi nahi chalegi...especially iss baar toh nahi. Agar tum sach mein sorry ho toh to pehle Swayam se baat karo, issues solve karo before bringing everybody else into the scene. (pause) Raat kaafi ho chuki hai, I guess you should go home.

Sharon: Rey.. main...you know that was not me, bas hogaya mujhse...

Rey: Tumhara Diva image tumhare true self pe reflect ho raha hai Sharon. And that's not the Sharon I knew. Anyways, I think tume chalna chahiye. DO you want me to drop you home?

Sharon: Thanks, I will manage. Goodnight Rey.(almost in whispers)

Sharon reluctantly leaves. She knew that not just had she lost her love but also her best friend.

Back in kitchen Swayam could not help overhearing the conversation. He was glad that rey did not tell Sharon about his presence.

Swayam: Thanks rey.

Rey: What for? (genuinely puzzled)

Swayam: For not letting Sharon know ke main yahan hun.

Rey: Dekh Swayam yeh tume dono ka maamla hai. Har baar ki tarah koi choti moti baat hoti toh I would have told her but this is big. Tum dono ko hi figure out karna hai how to solve this.

Swayam: Thanks yaar but you should not have asked her to talk to me (looks away)

Rey: jab tere saath hota hun to tera best friend banke sunta hun, samjhta hun aur advise karta hun and when I am with her I think from her point of view.

Swayam: hmmm

Rey: Hmm..kya. coffee kaun dega, devdas uncle. (laughs)

Background: Yaaron Dosti badi hi haseen hai..yeh na ho toh kya phir bolo yeh zindagi hai...Koi to ho raazdaar Begaraz tera ho yaar Koi to ho raazdaar..

Both of them did not realize when their talks became snores. But the most difficult day awaited for Swayam, little did he know.
