Hmmm...Should a girl be asked to choose between her brother and husband...(though in modern day scenarios girls may not really get much choices since brothers are more occupied in pleasing their own wives than sisters š) .But lets talk about situations like jo sujamal. Are both not important for her? Should marriage mean she should always choose her husband over her other relatives...As human nature goes it may be true that people choose between people rather than what is right and wrong...In most of the situations that are grey this could be correct because what one perceives as right ,the other may not and vice verse...But many times the situation arises where its just black and white...same goes with jo-jal-suj situation.Everyone here are right ,its the circumstance that is wrong .But i would like to speak from the point of view of JODHA here.
1) Given the circumstances there is nothing wrong in jodha meeting Sujamal in a clandestine way because as far as suj is concerned jalal had asked her to keep her views to herself and warned not to interfere in case of Sujamal very clearly.
2)Jalal is contradicting himself. Earlier he had very clearly forbiden her from involving or advicing in matters of Sujamal and now he is expecting her to tell him about her meeting with him.(He had hit a bulls eye bye speculating that it could be Sujamal whom Jodha is meeting. Inspite of MA contradicting him and instigating him saying it could be someone else, he was very much sure that it could be sujamal or some relative of hers.)
3) She believes in her brother and why not? She has known him from her childhood , so she had to know the real reasons of him staying back in Agra.
4) She has chosen to keep this a secret and thus chose her brother. but of course , this may be perceived wrongly by jalal since he has just broken the high walls of distrust he had built around himself...
5) By trying to find out the truth about who among jalals near and dear ones is wanting to finish him, Jodha has also chosen Jalal.
As such Jodha has done the right thing to choose both rather than just one person..Neither is she revealing anything to jalal nor sujamal...Cant a sister try to protect both her brother and husband?? And as for jalal...c'mon yaar any husband would be hurt seeing his wife in the dead of night with an other man... It will pent up and then DOOM DHOOSH š”it has to burst...Jodha would be fool not to understand this.. š¤Ŗ
